My bike needed a new handlebar and various fixes throughout. Gator was extremely thorough in reviewing the bike and advising me on what needed to be done. Fair pricing and both timely in getting an appt (I got one same day) and turn around. Highly recommend!

Had to tap a crank that had thread issues. Walked in and the mechanic working knew exactly what I needed, performed the service ably and quickly while I waited. The cranks worked exactly as expected and the price was right! Would come back for basic bike work for which I don't have the right tools

That time I took my #CopenhagenWheel in to the BikeSmith (because they're the "Authorized Superpedestrian Vendor" in ABQ) for truing and not only did they true the wheel quickly and affordably they did a little custom work on the rack installed by another shop that couldn't be bothered to adjust for the way the rack interfered with my breaking - and might have had the effect of helping put my wheel out of true.BikeSmith! Plus all the places they are out and about.

I am traveling through town and damaged my bike. These people were friendly and helpful and fair. I can't recommend d them more highly. Plus they're just cool people.

We rented again from Gator this week, my wife and I, two bikes for road riding in and around Albuquerque. This is the fourth time we've rented from him going back to (I think) 2012, even before he had the physical store site, during our periodic visits for a winter/spring warm up. Obviously something keeps us coming back to rent with Bikesmith:* They definitely have the best rental bikes in town if you want to do a reasonably serious ride; * Gator goes out of his way to make sure that things are right; just a likeable guy in general.

I was very impressed and happy with the service I received with Gator from the BikeSmith. The best part was he worked with me until my e-bike was completely safe, Thank You !

So my bike broke a spoke, I brought it in and immediately Gator noticed that more spokes had been replaced already - so the old wheel got recycled and he spent an hour going through parts bikes trying to find a decent replacement - but, no dice. Anyway, after ordering and not receiving a wheel, he went to another shop for the replacement, then he actually delivered the wheel to my house. How can you beat that service?

Called and went right down. Gator put new tubes with sealant in and adjusted everything. Fast and friendly service. Highly recommend for bike repair needs. Very knowledgeable.
