A great resource and partnership for local businesses wanting to get support and promotion for their business. You do not have to be a Hispanic owned business, it's for everyone. Great community events and networking. Membership has lots of benefits and support.

My first experience with the AHCC was a networking event, something I attended free of charge, a room full of entrepreneurs, small business owners and new residents who were looking for opportunities to start careers. It's funny to reflect that, by definition, I was something of an entrepreneur myself. Six years ago, while much of the rest of the country was pretty familiar with the company I worked for, most people in Albuquerque hadn't heard of Yelp. The AHCC immediately connected me with many of the people who, six years later, would champion a campaign to celebrate Dreamer businesses alongside my company. It's the largest hispanic chamber in the country, to begin with. I've attended workshops for Emprendedores, an entrepreneurship program taught in Spanish and English, such a critical free course for aspiring minds. Their efforts to broaden educational and workforce training access with the financial muscle of companies like PNM immediately impact the quality of living in this city, and this building is a terrific resource, as well. Like I said, six years ago I walked in here, knowing nobody, asked the woman at the reception desk where the networking event was, and began a journey. If you're considering doing the same, here's a nudge.
