The 5th Element Medical Practice

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was seen by the PA in this office several years ago. They never billed it correctly. Apparently Dr Tran does all of the mail and billing herself. They sent me to collections and my insurance says they will pay it. 5th Element just needs to resubmit wIth it coded as I was 39 at the time and they coded it as a 40-60 year old. I have been calling every week. Today the receptionist told me she would call back and I said I doubt that. Then she hung up on me.

I went to this place for a Botox treatment. I have had this done for 6 years now so I know what I need and how my body reacts. While treating me she talked me into twice as many units as I normally get and during treatment she said "I am not sure why but sometimes when I do treatments they don't always work". She promised me if it didn't work to come back in 3 weeks and she would redo it. Well, 3 weeks later I made an appointment left work to get treated and was told it did work I am just old and need more than 40 units!!! I am 36 years old! In the past the most I have ever received was 25 and that worked just 5 months ago. BEWARE of the provider I believe she waters down her Botox to make more money...or maybe she doesn't use any Botox at all!!

My husband ran out of blood pressure medicine. She would not call in the prescription until he came in for a visit. That was ok, but they never answer there phone or call you back if you leave a message. Making a DR appoint in not easy to make if they don't answer there phone. How ever after 8 day with out his medicine he finally did get an appointment to see the Dr. She was not very nice to him and told him that she would call in his prescription as soon as you leave Guess what she didn't do it again. This is 10 day with out his Med! They were closed the day after him appointment . The day after the appointment and after leaving 5 messages they answer the phone. He tells the person that answers the phone very nice. Hi I know that I have left five message and she laughs at him and says I'm sorry I forgot . I will do it now. What kind of Dr. put there patience life at risk buy not calling in there med. Not even a care that he could have got sick. Who plays with a patience life like that. I Have also had Botox from her and it only lasted less then two months . Poor Rating

Dr has been great and, I have been going to her for several years now. Always professional & courteous to me.

This "doctor" lacks professionalism, and integrity. She loudly discussed my insurance in the lobby when there were other patients around. She is selective of which patients she is kind of warm to, and which she is distant to -- this is intentional and I have personally experienced it numerous times. She is never punctual, texts during appointments, and is generally rude. She is distracted, contradicts herself from one visit to the next, and has no desire for interaction with patients, preferring a directive commanding and rigid approach to care. She ridiculed me during an appointment for my responses to some of her questions and I walked out. She never apologized for her behavior. Do not put this person in charge of your wellbeing. She has clearly forgotten what doctors are supposed to do. She should stick to the restaurant business I have heard ad nauseam about because she is a terrible doctor.

I was one of dr Tran's very first patients when she moved into her west side building. She helped me to overcome my diagnosis and difficulty.. it took almost 2 yrs to diagnose me! Years later and now she is very very busy.. my appointments are in and out and she gives me the same 2 prescriptions every month for years now. Until today, she decided to not refill one imperticular, and it's NOT something a person can live comfortably without for even 1 night. Her receptionist just called and said verbatim that Dr Tran said to tell me that I will be fine without them for the weekend and she'll see me Monday. Is that even normal??? I feel like she has ZERO compassion now and it's terrible!! I do NOT recommend her anymore!

Dr. Tran is amazing! I am having severe back pains and need an MRI. The place I was going to prior to this, where Dr. Tran previously practiced, was unable to get me in before the end of the month. Dr. Tran got me in within 24 hours of hearing of my problems and has already started the process for getting my an MRI. She is an excellent physician and I am so glad that her new practice is accepting my insurance, since I was very disappointed when I had learned she wouldn't be my primary care doctor anymore. She has been my doctor for most of this year and has been absolutely amazing. I really appreciate all she has done for me! I trust and value her medical expertise and opinion.
