On Saturday's they only do the dinner menu at lunch. I had to order a huge bowl of rice soup with tofu, instead of the little one that normally comes with lunch. My daughter enjoyed her Tom kha soup with tofu. I also had an order of low mein noodles with veggies, and mild sauce. It was good as ever with lots of broccoli and carrots. Our service was great and we got our ice tea refilled. I really like the convenience of this place on Alameda where I travel often and parking is plentiful.

The food here is first rate. Always fresh and always very, very flavorful. There are times when the service has lacked a bit to go be honest it was just out of the pandemic opening so that may have been a factor.Overall they serve great food in a relaxing ambiance.Take out is always excellent as well. Spicy jungle noodles are my go to!

Thai Kitchen is an unassuming Thai restaurant in Rio Rancho in the Corrales Shopping Center on Corrales Road and Alameda Blvd NW. It's between Interstate All Battery Center and the Dollar Tree across from Il Vicino Wood Oven Pizza. There's a large free parking lot so parking shouldn't be an issue. The entry into the restaurant doesn't have any steps, so patrons in wheelchairs or with mobility issues won't encounter any barriers. There's both table and booth seating. We ordered one of the current appetizer specials, which was the mango summer roll. It was a Thai spring roll with mango instead of the protein. It came with a sweet chili sauce and the roll overall was light and refreshing on a hot summer day. It was a nice alternative to deep fried appetizers. We each had the pineapple fried rice with tofu, medium spice. The onions were cooked but still firm and crunchy, the pineapple was fresh, and there was a nice pile of cilantro on top. The dish additionally had tomatoes, cashews, and green onion. It was flavorful and the spice was complimentary instead of overpowering. The rice wasn't greasy at all - it was just cooked well. The service was attentive and the food came quickly. I'm interested in trying more entrees at Thai Kitchen and would recommend it.

Wow! Such a wonderful experience here. Had the pad see ew with shrimp and pad Thai w chicken both very good. Potstickers were great. Left a wallet and they found it and saved it. So nice! Loved the soup lunch came with too. Can't wait to go back.

I've been to this strip mall area for many times now but never had time to try the food at Thai Kitchen until very recently. I happened to be in the area in mid afternoon and was hungry for last minute lunch around 20 min before 3pm...so I stopped by Thai Kitchen.I got a Pad See Ew (with tofu) and an iced tea. I think they were short staffed, so please be kind and patient with them (order and pay at a counter as you walk in and find a place to sit!). The food tasted great! I'm Thai and usually don't really go for Pad See Ew (I just typically don't prefer wide rice noodles rish). However, this time, I was in for a pleasant surprise and it really hit the spot for me! I cleaned the plate...and nothing was left! The Thai iced tea was so great, too! I guess I had been missing Thai dishes so much!P.S. I was slightly disappointed that in the menu, they said the lunch specials ran until 3pm...but...when I got to the restaurant 20 min before 3pm..they said they no longer offered lunch specials, so it would just be a dinner price. Fine..higher price..but I wished they could still honor it. Otherwise..food tasted great and the staff was actually nice!

I enjoy the food here every time I come here. Tom Kha Kai, Pad Thai, even just rice is fantastic. The service is always fairly quick, and I love that it is a small restaurant with consistency over the years.

Ate here yesterday. Lunch hour was busy, with only 1 waitress and 2 helpers, so it took a while to put in our order. Got the egg roll appetizer and loved them-crispy, tasty and hot. We both got the Masaman Curry w/chicken. If you love green chile like we do, I highly recommend getting the "hot" option-just hot enough for our taste. The curry had lots of chicken and peanuts, and BIG chunks of potato, onion and tomato. We each had leftovers. Will definitely go back to explore the menu more, but it will be during a slower time.

I have been eating at Thai Kitchen once a month for the last three years, with my white women friend. I am white. We often have had this particular waitress who has always been nice to us, and I always tip her 20% at lunchtime. Yesterday I went in there, on a Friday, Valentine's Day, with my husband, who is non-white, at 2:35 p.m. This waitress took a long time to seat us, took another couple's order before ours, served them while we sat there, we finally got our food and half-way through our meal she came up and told us we needed to "pay right away" because the cashier was closing (they 'close' from 3-to-4:30 between lunch and dinner) "but I won't throw you out" -- while there were two other full tables of diners. The food taste left and turned to mud. Then, saying as she walks by us, but to the table behind us, "can I get you anything else," brings them a drink refill, walks by us again, while my glass was empty and placed where she would see it. I can't say I have often had this experience in Albuquerque. I would ask others to boycott this restaurant, if Thai Kitchen thinks this is an acceptable way to treat people. Bad service trumps everything else.
