This is an awful, dirty restaurant. I've tried it twice now, about a year apart, in hopes that the first time was just a bad night for them. It was not. The restaurant is open seating, but there are no signs telling patrons this, so people will come in and stand around, like we did, until the single server notices them and tells them they can grab a seat anywhere. There are six tables that seat four people and one table that seats two. There are also four barstools along the bar for a total of thirty seats. There are no stairs into the venue so patrons in wheelchairs or with mobility issues will be fine accessibility-wise. The menus were sticky, the tables were sticky, our glasses were dirty with lipstick that hadn't been fully washed off, and the place had an overall grimy feel. I had the yellow curry fried rice, which was somehow both sour and extremely bland. The curry spice was what tasted sour; I haven't had any like it before and was thinking perhaps the spice went bad. The entree as a whole was very unappetizing. My companion ordered the pineapple fried rice and said he'd give his 1 star because it was extremely bland as well. The sodas we ordered came in a can with a cup of ice. The restaurant had one server for the dining room who was also in charge of busing the tables and coordinating to-go orders. He was friendly, but the owners had done a disservice by only having one staff up front, as he couldn't keep the place clean. Having tried this place twice, I'm confident in saying I wouldn't go back.

Came to Thai II before a concert with some friends. This is one of their favorite spots to come to, and I can see why. The food is excellent. There are some opportunities to improve, with signage about seating when you come in. One person was doing everything but cooking, making it a little awkward to stand around and wait. The parking spaces are tight if you try to park in their lot as well, so make sure you pay close attention if you have a larger vehicle.

We were looking for an inexpensive lunch in Nob Hill and had a delicious meal at Thai Cuisine II. They were a little understaffed, so service was unavoidably slow, but our server was very friendly and hustled to get everyone their food and condiments in a timely manner. Not a big deal - these things happen!I was in a veggie mood so tried something new to me, Pad Phug Roum Midt, a nice mix of cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, broccoli, snow peas, etc. in a mildly spicy soy-based sauce. It was perfect with some steamed rice tossed in to soak up some of the sauce, and the leftovers were fantastic as a fried rice dish the next morning. My husband got pad Thai with some pineapple added, medium heat. The bite I had was very tasty. This place isn't fancy, but it doesn't have to be to have great food.

This place has been a favorite for years now. The food is excellent. I love the salmon and red Penang curry, they're Pad Thai is yummy, as are all the noodle dishes we've had here. Ican honestly say we've never had a bad meal here. The service is always efficient. The place is small inside, warm, cozy & comfortable. Very much feels like an excellent neighborhood restaurant.

We had a wonderful meal with great tasting food and service. The place is small and kind of a hole in the wall but don't let that fool you. They put out great food. We started with vegetable fried egg rolls with a sweet sauce. Perfect to share for two people. My wife got the pad eggplant with chicken. I got the noodles with a sweet sauce, veggies, and pork. Both excellent choices. We have not had Thai in over a year so we are glad we stopped here.

This was my first time ever ordering Thai Cuisine II for delivery, I have always enjoyed their in person lunch special. I am one of those people who basically refuses to order delivery, I'd much rather pick up an order myself. However, this time I chose delivery because I was in the middle of a super busy day at work and I just didn't have time to step out of the house. The fried rice I ordered was really good, as well as the mango sticky rice for dessert. The portion sizes are very generous and I ordered mild which was plenty enough heat.

Let me preface this review by saying that Thai Cuisine II has been one of my absolute favorite places to eat here in the city. The food has consistently been delicious and the portion sizes are great. HIGHLY recommend the lunch special menu. However; tonight really put a sour taste in both mine and my boyfriends' mouths. There is a particular server who just doesn't seem to be very personable--at least not with my boyfriend and I.We were able to grab a table immediately after entering the restaurant, though it was starting to get busy. After seating, it took a few minutes to get some menus; so far so good! I asked for a specific substitution on my order, and we waited a reasonable time to get our food. This is where it starts to go downhill. My order was incorrect, but not the worst thing. The green curry was still delicious and my boyfriend's food was to his liking as well. This was the last time the server came to our table--not once did she come by to check on us after our food was delivered. Our two waters were not topped off either (challenging for spicy meals!) but to be fair it was getting quite busy. But SOME communication or any attentiveness would've been great. She bussed tables immediately next to and around us, and talked with seemingly every other table aside from ours. After finishing our food, we sat at the table for over TEN MINUTES before I had to physically get up to ask for the bill, as we had somewhere to be. When I stood at the counter she pretended not to see me and was folding up cutlery when I asked for our check. She asked me which table I was from and was not very happy to give me my to-go containers. After that my boyfriend came and paid for the check, only for her to slam the little plastic check tray in front of him to sign. He told her "thank you" and she ignored him, then we left. If we were disrespectful to her, I apologize. I am not sure what my boyfriend and I did to warrant the service we experienced tonight. The only thing I can think of is that the server was overwhelmed with the amount of customers. She was the only server for an entire dining room, and it was packed. This has been characteristic of Thai Cuisine though, to only have one person staffed for the front of house. Long story short: hire more wait staff!!!!

Extremely small dining room but excellent food and service. If you are looking for ambience this is not your place but if you are looking for good food for a reasonable price you can't miss it!

My favorite tai restaurant in Albuquerque. The food is consistently delicious and not overly greasy like I've experienced at other local tai places. Service is always consistently friendly and not awkward like I've also experienced at other tai restaurants in Albuquerque. The restaurant itself is really small and is really full during lunch hours, so it's hard to get a table sometimes which is usually why I get takeout. Parking lot is a bit small too but the delicious food and good service makes up for all the negatives.
