I have eaten here a handful of times, and each time is great! I normally do takeout, so I'll call ahead or order while I'm there. The woman in the front was very appreciative when my cousin and I placed a large takeout order. She was genuinely happy when I ordered the Aroy Dee dish off the chef's special, I took her advice and ordered mild with chicken. I normally order hot, but she said as this is a specialty you want to taste the flavors of the noodles. I couldn't agree more, the noodles were so savory and delicious and the chicken was flavored nicely as well.I will continue to come back and support, and I suggest you try something outside of your normal pad Thai comfort zone. You might be surprised! :)

I have been on this planet over seven decades. Travelled to 68 countries and 49 states. THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE AT A RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!It was at a place called Thai Cafe and Noodle Treats in Santa Fe just across from the LowesThe woman running the place should not be in any position where she interacts with the public. Some people just shouldn't be in retail. We arrived at 6:00 p.m. on a Saturday. The place was completely empty (this should have been a red flag). Immediately, she told us that they were closing at 6:30. I said, "Wait a minute. The signs and the internet says you close at 7:00." She said, "Clean up at 6:30." I said, "Fine, we will eat quickly."We sit down. She doesn't come to our table to take our orders - we have to project them to her where she is seated.Three minutes later, she says, "Pay now." This was long before we had even seen our food. At this point we walked out.Don't give your money to people who treat you with contempt!PS: When you go to their Facebook page, comments are disabled. What does that tell you?

Interesting ambiance however, do not let that fool you! Staff was so friendly, treated us like family eating at their house. We order the Masaman curry, Thai beef salad, and the Arroy Dee noodles. Not only were they beautiful but oh so delicious! We finished everything and considered ordering some food to go for later. Our kids loved the noodles! Highly recommend this place, don't get turned off by the atmosphere

Come here for the food, not the restaurant. It was a bit of a wait, but patience is a virtue. Best pad wood sen I've come across - and also the highest threshold of spiciness. Got some Thai hot pad Thai, and all I can say is - take their warnings seriously! Delicious noodles, and perfectly marinated tofu, so definitely worth putting your tastebuds through the heat. I always turn to Thai food to get some comfort, and boy do they deliver.

First (and only) time in...I like Thai basil stir fry, so I asked the lady who works there about it because none of the dishes were named basil. She didn't seem thrilled to help me figure it out, but I knew all would be forgiven when I took my first bite of that yummy stir fry. I looked forward to it and the fried rice I ordered all the way home.Unfortunately, this turned out to be the worst takeout food I've gotten in decades. The one positive I can say is that it did have basil in it. However, the ground chicken (at least that's what it was supposed to be) they put in the stir-fry was overcooked and didn't taste like chicken. I would have muddled through if the overall taste of the sauce and veggies had been good. Unfortunately, both the stir fry and fried rice tasted like garbage. I've always been able to eat fried rice before, even at the crappy mall food court places, but not this time. After a couple of bites, I ended up throwing all the food I bought into the trash and eating a burrito from the freezer.

Authentic Thai food in santa fe? Only found in here at Thai Cafe. Ms Ann's service is very reminiscent of talking to your auntie you haven't seen in months. You know she takes her time with cooking her food, and isn't afraid to let you know. The shop itself is very quaint and has a very relaxed atmosphere, but don't let that fool you from the very delicious spicy food you're about to eat. Out of every Thai restaurant in Santa Fe, I always find myself coming back to Thai Cafe. I regret not making a review years ago when I first came here, but better late than never.

Disappointed. My meal had 4 shrimp for $19,95. Rice was weird and gummy (not like sticky rice, but more gelatinous). When we got there at lunch, no other patrons, no one picking up, which should have been a red flag. You have to read the menu at the counter (one menu for 3 of us to read), then pay. I haven't eaten a lot of Thai food, but seems when the basic rice is not done well, that says something.

I'm visiting for work and happened to have found this gem. Originally from California and missed me some Thai food. Ordered potstickers, panang curry with chicken and a Thai iced tea. The food was fantastic, service was friendly and relatively quick; if I was staying longer, I would try out several more dishes. Definitely worth checking out.
