This place was super packed so I opted for takeout. I really like the ambience inside and the atmosphere created is really cozy though. I ordered the combo so that I could try a little bit of everything. In terms of the food, there wasn't anything really remarkable or anything that stood out since it was pretty bland from tamale to enchilada to taco. Everything taste-wise was prettyone-dimensional dimensional but the service was friendly.

This place is a real gem! I had breakfast with a friend and we were able to bring their behaved dog on the patio. It seems this place is popular with the locals, as there were people there waiting for them to open. The staff was friendly. My breakfast sandwich was delicious. I will definitely come back the next time i'm in town. Parking: Plentiful.

A restaurant and store in one! The place was packed when we arrived but we were quickly seated. It was a chilly day and they had propane heaters throughout the space keeping you nice and toasty. The food was yummy, I do wish my green chile was a bigger portion size. it was delicious, packed with flavor but not filling enough on its own. it comes with 2 tortillas as well. I wanted the whole pot! Their desserts looked delicious! we didnt try one this time but will next time!

1000% yes. Go out of your way to get here, it's so worth it. The food is top tier. The serving staff is great & chill. The vibe is everything you want & more on a trip to santé Fe. You can even get items from the market to take back with you! I personally got the salsa & hot sauce to take back home. And the strawberry poured cake is to die for (not featured in photos.)

Service! I get that we were between seatings, but it's nice to relay that information when specific seating is requested instead of the patron having to ask and then be condescended to. The guy behind the bar was also rude to the guy next to me when asked about the taps, and then, to top it all off, made a deliberate and rude comment upon leaving. As he zipped by he said 'happy holidays' and before I could take a beat, mumbled 'or not' under his breath. The bar has excellent offerings when the 'too cool for school' staff are inclined to provide service. We normally come twice a year when we are in town, but the kitsch is wearing off as the ambivalence rises. The 'guy' in question is an olive skinned brunette... manager? Sad. Two stars are for the selection of to-go booze and pastry cabinet averaged out with negative stars for the service.

I have never left a bad review but feel compelled to share this experience. We had heard great things about this place and wanted to stop for breakfast on our way to Bandelier. Unfortunately I can't review the food because after over an hour of waiting, we finally got up and left without eating. We were seated pretty quickly, but had to flag down a waitress to order after about 20 minutes. She never once checked on us after that. After an hour and watching tables that came in after us being served we finally gave up and left. This place was not that busy so I have no idea why the service was so uniquely awful for us. Do not recommend unless you have the whole day to kill and infinite patience for horrible service.

After the casino we needed food. This place popped up and we gave it a try. Flash back to vintage roadside dining. It doubles as a market too. Staffed by people who look like nomadic campers . Friendly and attentive. Our food was really good. The Green Chile was great. Eclectic ambiance for sure

I don't care if my friends complain about TVM. I love it. The prices are a little high, but you pay for a great experience. I've been going to TVM for decades. My suggestions are simple:Carne adovada burrito with extra red chile sauce- sometimes they don't smother the burrito w the most delicious red chile sauce in Santa Fe (you can actually buy it in the store there)Second is the tarragon chicken sandwich. I love it - the sandwich has tremendous flavor.Everything at TVM is packed with flavor but I don't know what the average burgers taste like. No idea. The pizza is incredible. The dough is made daily and has the flavor we all desire. Enjoy

soooo yummy!! The green chile garlic cheese bread was great for the vegetarian sandwich! The beef was so tender and flavorful for the smothered beef burrito and the red chile sauce was great, not too hot for my taste. My only complaint was the bread for the vegetarian sandwich was soggy on the bottom by the time I got there. Staff was friendly and cool, and awesome popping atmosphere on a Thursday! I'll have to eat in next time!

I've heard the food is good, but because the service is so poor, I have no way of knowing. Two days prior to visiting the restaurant, my wife went to the restaurant's website to make reservations. The website clearly stated that they did not take reservations. So with high hopes, we went to the restaurant to see if we could beseated. The hostess, who was rude from the start, asked if we had a reservation. We said we tried to get one, but the website said that they didn't take them. She said "oh, everyone knows to call", or words to that effect. She said that we shouldn't have waited so long to make them. We said we tried two days ago. My wife asked how long it would be before the six of us could get a table. The hostess said, "oh an hour, maybe an hour and a half". Her tone conveyed that she had no interest or concern in whether we were seated or not. We went to Gabriel's and were seated immediately. You can be assured that Tesuque Village Market is off of our list of Santa Fe dining options. There are too many good restaurants in Santa Fe to toleratethat sort of nonsense.
