Banco area on front porch
New 2-color "mesa" effect on front porch
Front
South wall gets the most sun exposure. Now it looks perfect.
Not trenches 4"-6" like Anthony Biddle said they would do.
North Albuquerque Acres
Contract says they will "trench where soil meets foundation approximately 4"-6"". They didn't even stucco to the soil.

We are living in a time where folks will take advantage of the housing crisis we are in. Folks are buying in & building up their homes rather than moving. This means "housing" companies are backlogged-- from roofers to plumbers. Tesuque Stucco was very responsive and respectful to my needs. I don't need a full stucco job. My home is newer and has a few places it needs help because there are no gutters (on most NM houses). The owner gives me a call and tells me they only due full houses because they run in crews. He explains he doesn't want to overcharge me, and gives me the names of 3 companies that do repairs. He is thorough, kind, and educational. So, even though I did not use this business and cannot speak to final outcomes, I can say this company will not come to take your money or pressure you into something you do not need. I can also say out of the 3 suggestions he gave me one of them, Perez Plaster, came out and gave me a very reasonable quote and put me on their calendar that is 45 days out. I wouldn't be at this point without Tesuque. Tesuque also gave me some names & numbers for gutter installation because that's the next step. With rain & no gutters folks will be fixing stucco every few years = costly. I trust Tesuque, and when the time comes for a full stucco job they will be my choice. For now, I'm thankful that we crossed paths.

Tesuque Stucco just finished our house and the neighbors think it looks great. They send a great team with Omar, Juan and Andres. They answered all my questions and concerns. Stucco is really messy but they managed to clean it all up. It was a pleasure working with Ramona at the office. She was very accommodating with a sense of humor.

This company does not stand behind its work....unless you want to pay more money to have it repaired! Had our house stuccoed in 2016. By 2017, noticed the stucco actually peeling off on the wall above our back patio. We called and asked that it be repaired. We were told that we would have to wait until a crew was actually coming to Santa Fe. On the one day we told them not to come, because we were having a party, they showed up! The workers patched the wall, with the gray underlayment, and it stayed that way for at least a year, if not longer. By the time we contacted them again, several large cracks had appeared in various locations. We finally insisted that the supervisor come to Santa Fe to see what we were talking about. He gave us every excuse in the book as to why the stucco was failing but that it was not their fault. He then sent us an estimate for $2000.00 to make the various repairs. We okayed it and, after they found a close enough match to the color (because they failed to note it when they did the original job), they sent a worker out to do the repairs. I still have almost 10 gallons of unused stucco sitting out in my garage! Talk about an overestimate! Several of the repairs have already started to Crack again. I won't be calling Tesuque Stucco back to re-repair them. One other thing. Don't be fooled by the so-called 10 year warranty. Apparently, that only covers the material used. No apparent warranty for the quality of the work!

I am having my home re-stuccoed just 8 yrs after Tesuque Stucco did it. Three estimates and all evaluators said Tesuque Stucco placed a inadequate thickness of stucco, leading to hundreds of cracks, some 4 to 6 feet in length. Tesuque returned to repair an 18" flap that debonded from house and a few additional areas where stucco flaked away from house just 2 yrs of being placed. Tesuque stucco likely saved $$$ on their end from using significantly less stucco material than required, compromising elastomeric properties of the stucco. My advice is not to pay for sexualized TV advertisements. There are honest and more reliable stucco companies which deliver a better, longer lasting stucco for a reasonable cost and for a cost that is less Tesuque Stucco prices. JUST DON'T DO IT!!

The initial stucco work on our house was adequate, but nothing spectacular as in their advertisement. The pricing of their work was definitely not inexpensive, but we liked the reviews and were impressed with the 12-year-old warranty. When I asked the owner how he could possibly repair any and every crack they may occur on our new stucco for the next 12 years, he claimed that's what made his company better than other stucco companies. Later that would be proven false. During the project we also noticed the workers were careless and sloppy with the stucco, there was little effort to prevent minor spills, and disposal of extra stucco was found in the bushes. There was a lack of supervision on the job site, causing the lack of proper quality control of the work site. Most important issue that we've had with Tesuque is honoring their warranty. After the first year we had some cracking occur on a few areas on the walls and around windows. They were initially punctual, and addressed the areas of concern, but with poor quality workmanship. There was no effort to blend-in the repair work into the one-year-old stucco. As time went by, additional cracks are occurring frequently, generally larger and deeper than previously. Eventually, we were informed by Tesuque that they would no longer honor the warranty, because the cracks on 19 windows are due to construction problems of the house, not due to faulty stucco (or missing wire mesh). They offered to fix 8 windows, but they wouldn't guarantee the future work would blend-in with the existing stucco. However, a cost estimate was soon offered to match the new stucco to the old. It can't be corrected under the warranty, but it can be corrected with more money.

Ashton Tarry arrived at my home and immediately said that Tesuque Stucco works with people that can afford the quality of work that Tesuque Stucco provides. How does a stucco consultant determine someones wealth by looking at the customer and the exterior of their home? Ashton told me the stucco would cost 20 or 30 thousand without measuring. I told Ashton fine I want a quote. I told Ashton to measure and I'd be inside my home and my husband will be in the back yard. I looked outside and Ashton and his white truck were gone. Ashton did not tell either one of us good by or say it was nice meeting you I'll email you the quote. Ashton Tarry was very unprofessional and I guess you need a million home to give Tesuque Stucco your bussiness.

Highly recommended! This is the second time we've used this company: first time was 20+ years ago on our former home where they had to lath and basecoat before the finish coats. This time (different home) they didn't have to lath or basecoat, but used a different system called Dryvit. They DID have to repair our crumbling courtyard walls and used mesh and a special "glue" product prior to the primer coat. We are VERY happy with the results! The color is a bit lighter than we were expecting but we're OK with that...might even keep the house cooler. Xavier and crew were very professional, courteous, and cleaned up the jobsite site nicely. The price was quite reasonable. We got a quote last August and put down a deposit, and it wasn't until June that the work was started, due to weather delays. Once the guys get going, they are very efficient and the work was done in less than 2 weeks. Martin's a great guy to work with and really knows his stuff about stucco. So glad our stucco isn't yuck-o anymore! Thanks.

Tesuque Stucco Company truly has a remarkable office staff; Ramona and Amy were always warm, friendly and wonderful with scheduling, providing color samples, and following up. Nothing was too much trouble for them!! Tesuque Stucco uses a high quality product with an exceptional warranty. The work crew: Xavier, Jorge, Juan, and their team were careful and did an excellent stucco job on the walls, front-corner post, and parapets. My only hesitation in giving 5 stars was the lack of preparation and cleanup around the perimeter of the house. Rather than pulling the ground stones well away from the walls before applying stucco, the stones were pulled only inches away, such that they were splattered with stucco drippings. I was also surprised to find that the tape used to prevent stucco adhering to the portale and posts was so strong that it pulled off some of the paint, creating another project!! This crew worked extremely hard, and were always friendly and respectful. I would give them 5 stars for their excellent craftsmanship. The house itself looks beautiful! Adding a female supervisor with an eye for detail both before the stucco work begins and after completion, would go a long way to improve the quality of the preparations and cleanup, so as to win 100% satisfaction from homeowners. From the beginning to finish we were really pleased with the service we received. Ashton was very thorough and went way beyond to match our stucco color. Amy and Ramona were prompt and very communicative with questions and scheduling. We were so pleased with Victor and Junior as well as the entire crew. They are nonstop workers who organized the job around our sloping yard, landscaping and limited access. And were very respectful of us and our property. Most of all, our house looks great!

I found the stucco crew (led by Omar) to be great. They worked very hard to get everything done well, including many various fixtures. They talked with me, verified my concerns, and got the job done right! Thank you!The quality of the product is also quite good. Our restucco was a large project, and it was good to see features and challenges get managed. The company encouraged quality, and Omar's team executed nicely. I have purposefully waited ~2 years to review, because I wanted to see if any after-the-fact issues arose. So far, no problems! Why not 5 stars? The main issue concerned home-office communication and coordination. I communicated with four people, and often none of them were sure what the others were doing. Hence, the job started much later, then suddenly on a day with no notification (I insisted on being there day 1, and thus burned unnecessary vacation - just to home when it turned out the crew arrived). Our job (again, it was a big one) was stalled to work another job, then I struggled with the office to resume. The sales pitch had lots of information, but hasty and unwritten... I was scratching my head 30 minutes later about what was said. I suggest future customers write down statements/claims during discussions, and likewise write questions beforehand. I found decisions sometimes changed without notification - I proactively called multiple individuals to get updates.Getting oversight and accountability from the company was very difficult, instead more, "I don't know why whosits told you that." A 'touchup' service was promised, but only partially delivered, and thus I needed to complete multiple items myself.Again, the product looks very nice, and I appreciate the attention to detail by the crew (4.5 stars). Tesuque is more expensive than others, but they provide a very long warranty (I suggest confirming materials AND labor).I hope the home office can repair their internal communications and provide better coordination with their customers. If I did it again, I'd follow every discussion with an email, capturing what I heard, and request confirmation from the office. This process was frustrating enough to my family to reduce our star rating (4.5 - 1.5 = 3).Finally, I repeat that this review is from a couple years ago - for all I know, the communications issues have been fully resolved by now. Again, the final product looks very good.
