When the COVID 19 precautions were first announced Tesoro mgr. sent out an email saying, "OUR FIRST PRIORITY IS PROTECTING OUR OFFICE STAFF!" Nothing has changed in the months since. The assistant Mgr. Jaime delights in insulting me. She says she can not afford me the smallest courtesy, because if she did she would have to be courtesy to all the other tenants.

I love Tesora On Spain it's a good area to live but when new management took over it was not as good as it used to be until our fav employee came back . But one employee that really helps and continued to help us when we moved out was Amanda and I'm going to miss Amanda at our new place but the only reason we left is that we are looking for something bigger and we need a three bedroom but if I didn't need to upgrade rooms I would have stayed but if they could I would like it if they renovated like more updated items in the homes but other than that I loved living there, the space, the people it was good !

I've lived here for five years and I am looking forward to moving out- there is and has been no hot water in a few buIldings, I was told, not just mine-- only warm, if we are lucky! This has been going on for several months with no longer a good explanation as to why this is happening! The dog area from gate 16 has been in blackout for several months - so can't see to take the dog for it's duty when dark besides being risky when walking alone as a woman. Gate 15 doesn't close all the way automatically as it should - thus, it isn't locked. I had several items stolen off my patio for the second time last month; is this due to the gate not being locked as my apartment is right near the gate? I have complained about this to the office & maintenance-- & had requested maintenance done on it--There is dog poop wherever you walk on the grass-- nothing much done about policing this lack of responsibility of dog owners nor policing to catch these people!!We pay for electricity for the common areas; the outside lights are left on 3-4 hours after sunrise everyday! This has been going on since at least September 2019! What are they doing with the extra money because we haven't seen a refund!Mailboxes keep getting broken into; I had to rent a box @ the Post Office because Tesoro is not finding a solution to stop the robberies, costing me quite a bit of money! My apartment was flooded from empty apartment above on 12/19/19 with water running into my apartment for an hour before I was able to get anyone to answer the phone to stop the water! They left work to go to a Christmas party! Someone finally listened to a message I left & came over & shut off the water. Starting the next day, I had to start packing up Christmas decos & to pack household items from kitchen, dining room, and lIving room, packing over Christmas to be moved on 12/26 by a mover to the empty apartment next door loaned to me by the Mgr. so that maintenance could begin to restore my apartment on 12/27. Maintenance never showed up.For 28 +/- days, nothing was done by maintenance and was ordered by the Mgr to move back into my apartment, as is, on 1/25/20! NO painting, NO carpet cleaning, which has an odor as well, had patchwork over walls, done in part by contracted worker, and black mold on all windowsills. The Mgr told me 4 times that maintenance was going to come to work but never showed up. At 4:00 on the eve of moving back, 1/25/20, a maintenance man showed up to paint! I was busy packing so sent him away & asked him to come back @ 8:00 next morning. Then later thought that a bad idea. When he came I said no not good idea & why as nice as I could. He left understanding. Mgr later blamed me for AGAIN sending man away from painting & threatening me with charging me with a painting bill for having to do it later! (She had 28 days to do it before now!)

As a resident who will thankfully temporarily be living here. This is by far the worst place I have ever lived. Within the first 90 days of living here my complex was without water for 2 days while "repairs" were being made. Also hot water is very limited. After that the units AC was broken with mid 90 degree weather. The amount of dog feces on the property is disgusting and dogs just roam free without their owners obeying the leash rules. I have made many complaints to the office and they look at me completely baffled as they can't see or know the problem right in front of them they act totally like slumlord owners. Don't live here run the other way.

Updating my review since the leasing office reports negative reviews - really sketchy that they have Amanda commenting on yelp, giving this place 5 stars when she helped run it to the ground. It has been run like a slum for over a year now and has absolutely not improved with new management staff. There are still meth heads selling drugs, cops constantly called on neighbors, apartment rules not being enforced, maintenance requests go unfulfilled, water constantly shut off, no working AC but they still charge for full utilities. Save yourself the stress and stay away from this place.

DO NOT LIVE HERE- the management and buildings are terrible!!! Lived here for a year in the oldest and broken apartment. Towards the end of our lease, we were out of town and our air conditioning broke and was leaking from our ceiling. When we filed a maintenance request, they came to fix it by carving a huge hole in the ceiling. They didn't fix or cover the hole and we had cockroaches crawling out into our home. We literally had to tape it to keep bugs from coming into our home. Not to mention we already had cockroaches coming in through the sink drains. The management couldn't care less about tenants and their needs. After calling, emailing, and going into the office they never fixed our unit and left it until we moved out two months later. What is even better is after we moved out, they kept our entire deposit for cleaning fees AND charged us additional fees on top even though they neglected to fix the unit when we occupied it. I would literally live anywhere else in Albuquerque- you will run into issues and be sorry that you signed a lease here. I would give 0/5 stars if I could.

rent is too overpriced ( find somewhere better), horrible office staff, duplex you have to pay for entirely, charged for parking a month after we had moved out, hot water is never working. definitely look somewhere else to live before they threaten to charge you extra

Wish I would've looked over reviews closer before moving here. The biggest issue I've had living here has been hot water. I don't have hot water 80% of the time and I have lived here for a year. I have called and called. I have been so patient. They have had countless excuses as to what is causing the issue and it never resolves. Still paying full price for all utilities etc with NO hot water. I don't know if I need to contact the city or seek legal help. This is absolutely insane.

Absolute worst management. We've lived here for over 3 1/2 years and never had issues until this past year. Management in the office have absolutely no empathy and answer the phones like they hate their lives. Any time we have issues, we dread to call because of the additional attitudes we have to put up with to get the help we need. We can't wait to get out of here!

It's been almost 2 years since I left there & it still smarts-- just a week or so before Christmas, one of my daughters & I, in an apartment on the 1st floor, heard a small explosion from the vacant upstairs apartment, which was being worked on by the maintenance crew. Then heard what sounded like rushing water. Before long, water was gushing down from the upstairs apartment kitchen into my kitchen through the light fixture & the walls, window sill, every which way - flooding the kitchen with 2" or more of water, going into the dining & living room, soaking the carpet in both rooms. I got on my phone, called the office, emergency number - no answer. My call log showed I started calling 4:00 & kept trying until after 5:00, working hours-- finally someone answered & went upstairs & turned off the water. Said a pipe busted. The staff was at a Christmas party. No apologies- nothing- Manager tried to blame me at one point. However she offered the empty apartment next door to store my furniture so the maintenance men could renovate. A month later, not one employee showed to fix anything, no carpet cleaning & she demanded I move back in or pay rent in both apartments. The smell was unlivable plus black mold on all windows. I moved out as soon as I could w/o breaking the lease. She was the manager from hell! No work was done except an outside contractor patched up some of the walls but no maintenance men as she promised over & over & over - except at times I wasn't there & yelled at me for not being available or coming just when movers were coming to move my stuff back in & blamed me for turning them away- verbal abuse every time there was an encounter with her so as she had a case -- awfulness!! And no hot water for over a year- had logs to prove it! So many of us complained - one went to court about it & lost - done now! I loved that apartment! Loved the layout! But that manager-- made it a real nightmare for me! Not to mention ruined my Christmas as had to pack up everything as she said had to have everything out so to start fixing the day after Christmas!!! No show! Not then, not on my watch unless at inopportune 1-2 times! Oh my! The hurt is still there! Very hard time!!
