I love Teriyaki Chicken Bowl!! This is my favorite restaurant I've ordered from since moving here years ago! I try to go thru the drive thru every Monday afternoon with my little poodle, and we order the double -the #15, and it is DELICIOUS!! I can usually eat plenty, share a few bites with my dog, and even have leftovers- BUT yesterday it was so yummy that I ate until I couldn't breathe, and there were no leftovers left, lol! I have been to 2 of the locations, but the one at the Central/Rio Grande Blvd. near Walgreens is my favorite location. It's absolutely delicious EVERYTHING time, and is just the best food ever!:)

It's been about a good 8 to 9 years since I last recall coming to the Teriyaki Chicken Bowl. Personally this was my first time coming to this location. Out of all the many years I've lived in Albuquerque I spent the majority of them on the west side of town. These days I'm hardly at that side town so my exploration goes further out. Pulling in I do have to admit I was glad to see the pre-menu before the speaker. It had been so long since my last visit to this restaurant I wasn't sure what to get. As much as I like new and exciting changes I have to say I was glad to see the same delicious entrees. Of course as soon as I saw my #15 Double Teriyaki Chicken w/ Noodles well I headed straight on that! Topped it off with a couple Egg Rolls, and I was chowing like a king! My feast was quite grand. When I got home every bite just brought back so many memories! To my surprise it didn't seem to taste any different than I previously remembered and I savored every bite. It was so satisfying!Needless to say one satisfied customer here! Granted it may not be everyone's cup of tea and people's pallets change in time. I have a lot of appreciation of some things staying the same. Some recipes are good just the way they are. Like the old saying "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". The best way for me to describe it it's like popping in a Mötley Crüe or Ozzy cd in the car! It may be an oldie but it is still a goodie in my book and I'll jam on that any day hardcore! Don't ever change Teriyaki Chicken Bowl!

TCB is pretty much a one shot business - you know what you're going to get and every time you get it, it is exactly what you expected. No surprises. It is fast, comes perfectly packaged for take-out,. You can take it to work, take it home, take several to meet with family, friends, colleagues. I've never had one badly cooked, short something, or disappointing. At least in the circles I run it works to call out "I'm stopping by Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, anybody want anything?". You don't pass around a menu. "Sure, I'll have a 1," Me too" "Get me a 6." Another 1". Add a 5." Anyone else? "No, I brought my lunch today." "Me too. Darn it." It perfectly fits a niche business that serves a healthy, well cooked, generously proportioned, fast meal just right. If you're looking to pore over a unique menu, with a lovely selection of wines, TCB is probably not your choice today.

Ordered the double chicken teriyaki combo, which comes with two servings of chicken on top of a large portion of rice with steamed vegetables on the side. I thought the chicken was delicious, and I added extra teriyaki sauce to taste. The rice stuck together nicely, making it easy to take bites with plenty of rice and chicken. The steamed vegetables weren't impressive but added color, texture, and nutrition to the dish. For $8.99, this was a lot of good food. Drive-through service was fast, too. This is a solid option for quick eats in the midtown area.

Teriyucky!!! This place is sooooo dirty. Filthiest place I've ever been to. There was a cockroach right by us and the seats and tables haven't been cleaned in a long time. I ask to speak to the manager to tell her how dirty it was. She told me sometimes they are to busy to clean and as I'm telling her how dirty it was, one female employee kept smiling and laughing at me. Must be funny to be filthy.

Tried to order the rice on the side, they refused and said I had to order a side of rice instead. Also they won't do easy vegetables, either none or regular amount. Annoyed.

If I was focused on food only this place would get 5 stars. But it's a little run down so I had to down grade for that. I had the double chicken teriyaki plate and being on a paleo diet I asked for no rice. I received to grilled breasts sitting on abed of steamed vegetables. They were infused with the teriyaki flavor and a hint of sweetness. Well done. Good flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Marinated in the sauce before it was cooked and not dripping in it. Again great flavor without tons of sugar. I will return. Price is reasonable and service was quick. I don't really care that the mini blinds are broken, wallpaper falling and seats are torn. If you want good healthy food try this place.

Super expensive, little food for the price. Sticky rice off of Jefferson north of masthead is the place to go.

Since this use to be one of my go to place I was passing though ABQ and figured I'd try it again to possibly change my mind for the better.....not at all. Save time and your money and go elsewhere. Bad food all around. This place has went down for the worst.
