Swim lessons.
TCA recently installed a smart court at the club. Pretty cool technology and the only tennis club in the southwest with a PlaySight system!

Great place to spend the summer.

My kids do swim lessons here in the summer and I really like that the ratio is 1 instructor to every 2 kids. It's a paper and pencil establishment and runs like a well oiled machine. Liz and Jimmy are very kind and I really appreciate that. The tennis courts are nice and abundant. TCA gets 5 stars from me.

This place doesn't have a liquor license but they allow members to BYOBOOZE. No one their that monitors your intake of alcohol and often members are leaving TCA over the limit. Pretty blitzed. And often with their children in their car. I've heard they changed management and am not clear who sits on the board present day but I hope they've cleaned up their policy. The don't ask , don't tell policy. Very reckless and dangerous. Which is why we're no longer members.

Very good experience no hassle. I am from out of town and when I went it to reserve a court was able to walk right in and plan on one of very well kept courts.

Bring your sunscreen, swim suit, food to grill, and booze. You're set!I love this place. It's so laid back and just... fun. I'm exactly their majority demographic (that I've seen, anyway), so there are tons of 30-something parents with their kids and people are pretty friendly. You can buy a full-year's membership and pay a little extra per month to use the gym facilities, or you can get just a summer membership, which is what my family did--just for use of the pool. I'm not gonna lie-it's not cheap and you need to come several times per week to really get your money's worth. BUT, they have a huge gas grill and grilling utensils for all to use. There's a kitchen and you can store your stuff in the fridge. There's a microwave and stove (not sure if we can actually use the stove, but I wouldn't be surprised if we can). You can BYOB--I even see the occasional dad in the pool with a beer, which is probably not the best idea, but what's completely awesome is that no one's tsk-tsking at anyone. There's a teenage lifeguard on duty and plenty of parents keeping their eyes on the kids. The manager (owner?) is usually around and is really friendly and helpful. For a club, there's no elitist feeling to it. Like I mentioned, people are friendly, kids don't steal other kids' toys, no one's enforcing rules with an iron fist. The kids are pretty well-behaved. This place has been around far longer than I have--a sort of hidden gem in the middle of the city. So glad we joined.

Pretty chill establishment. Not a fan of walled communities, but I enjoyed watching my nephews swim.

We've been members for a couple of years now and we are pleased! I wanted to mention that they have great tennis campus and lessons for kids. Also their are lessons for advanced adult beginners almost every Saturday with Alex. You don't have to be a member to participate in these lessons. You can call to make a reservation for the lesson. Non-members pay a few more dollars for the lesson, but it's reasonable and a small group. They also have a summer pool membership, which is great for the non-tennis folks. Friday nights the pool is open later. Everyone brings food to grill and hang out. Everyone is very welcoming

We've been members of TCA for about 7 or 8 years now and we absolutely love it. The people are fun and friendly and the atmosphere is laid-back and family-oriented. There are 13 tennis courts which I would describe as slow hard court. At the time of writing, about half have recently been resurfaced. There is a brand new, well-regarded head tennis pro starting in January with many tennis programs for kids and adults. The facility was built in the fifties and includes a club house with ping pong and foosball, a great swimming pool, a baby pool, and a playground for little kids. Our favorite thing to do is show up on a summer's eve, grill some meat and veggies, play some tennis, swim a bit, and have some beers with friends. BYOB.
