This place is terrible! These people are thieves and they are breaking the law!!! Please do yourself a favor and do not rent here!!! They are overpriced for the shoddy apartments you get and when you vacate, they BREAK THE LAW! Be aware that your security deposit is due back to you within 30 days. I have been going round and round with these people for almost two months! Also be aware that they have 7 days to fix problems or you get an abatement. The manager, Danielle, in the office was always put off that I even came in there - even to pay rent - and she was always rude. These people really need to be sued and put out of business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is place is a joke, I've moved out on Feb 12th 2024. Today is May 29th and still have not gotten my refund. I am also told i am paying for the entire month even i only stayed until the 12th. The leasing agent told me me they will charge me per day based on the day i return the key, but fail to tell me that I already paid for the whole month.

I had the same experience as most of the commenters unfortunately. We moved in to the apartment on November 1, 2021. We were told that a key would be left in a lockbox and that we could enter upon arrival as we were driving in and might arrive after the office closes. We confirmed this via email and phone call. It really says something when every email you send to the "management company" bounces back as undeliverable. Luckily, we arrived before the office closed and were able to get a key fe them, since the lockbox was NOT left as promised. The maintenance staff were mostly polite and helpful but the staff in the office were completely useless, lazy, and incompetent. The shuffle of staff also suggested that the work environment was less than ideal. When we gave our notice to move out, we had a whole hassle given the dates and timing of our notice, but after several unnecessarily rude phone calls, that was sorted out. The real kicker was the fact that they absolutely will not return your security deposit. We received the letter indicating how much we would receive back and indicating that it would be mailed to us within a month, as required by law. The letter was sent to our new address. The check of course never arrived. So I called and called and called and no one answered or returned my calls when I left messages so I stopped by the office. The front desk told me that "they didn't have an address to mail my check to" which is why they didn't mail it, which is funny considering they knew where to mail the letter indicating what deductions they had taken out of the deposit. And no one called or emailed to ask for an updated address. But nevertheless, I updated the address and hoped that they would send it. This went on for the better part of a year. I would go there every few months, complain that they still hadn't done what was promised, they would give me some excuse about payroll or accounting or whatever they wanted to blame that week and promised that we would get our refund soon. That was two years ago. At some point, I'm fairly certain they just blocked my phone number because my calls stopped going through. If you're looking for an outdated, overpriced, and utterly mismanaged apartment, this is certainly the place for you!

We moved into a "remodeled" 2 BDRM / 2 bath apt in March of this year and communicated to management about a couple of plumbing issues that needed fairly immediate attention (including the fact that the master bath sink had no hot water). Nothing happened. I mentioned this issue about a month later in the office and was told maintenance would come by the next day. No one showed. I submitted a maintenance request through the online residents' portal and got a call almost a week later to schedule service. Another no show. Cannot count how many times I've stopped by the office after work shortly after 5:00 and no one is there (they're supposedly open until 5:30). A few weeks ago someone bashed in the rear windshield of my car. In talking with some of my neighbors, I'm told the same thing has happened many times to other residents but property management says there is nothing they can do about it. Last week we get an email about the pool opening, and that as of that day, it would be open everyday from 10am to 10pm. Today, we head to the pool at 5:25 and all gates are chained shut with no access. ???? No one is available to explain why as the office was once again closed early. And let's not forget the fire drill of notices being placed outside every apartment door that someone from the office management team would be stopping in at some point over the next two days for a five minute visit, without any explanation of what that visit was to be about. Having a dog that doesn't do well with strangers, I dropped my dog at day care for two days in a row (for a cost of nearly $50), and no one ever showed. Again. The incompetence of the staff here is astounding and beyond frustrating. And as someone else mentioned, the complex runs on a boiler system so all water is centralized. Meaning there are no individual hot water heaters in the units. How does such a boiler system work? It doesn't. All it produces is water that rarely gets hot and water pressure that isn't much more than a trickle. For this 2BDRM unit with 2 only partially functional bathrooms, and a dryer that leaves random grease stains on our clean laundry, and all the added fees and utilities (exactly what is my gas payment for if all appliances are electric and we have hardly any warm water?), I'm paying over $1800 a month. Thievery!Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you're apartment hunting.

Nobody is ever at the office despite having a sign on the dang door that says "Welcome, come on in". The door is always locked, not to mention getting packages is a hassle. Cherry on top shower is always room temperature at best and nothing has been done about it yet

I really enjoy living here. The staff are friendly and responsive and the community is super cute. There's lots of places to walk my dog and the grounds are pretty. Be careful leaving things in your truck bed overnight. Like anywhere, theft (if it's not properly secured) will likely happen. I'm looking forward to the pool area opening when it warms up.

Trish was absolutely amazing and had such a contagious attitude. She was and continues to be very efficient in helping with my move in process. I prefer to go to her when she is there. She's super welcoming and kind, and knows how to get things done. Love her!

Hello i was a resident for 3 years loved the location but the complex is terrible..... we informed the office with a 60 day notice to leave, i spent time talking with an assistant manager she said it was possible a last month being prorated but she had to check with the manager and will be contacted. That never happened she refused to contact me on April 30,2024 i returned the keys and spoke with manager who told me that after 2 years no charge for repainting or carpets after a week i received a letter charging me 200.00 for fumigating smoke apt and 350.00 for repainting with "smoke paint"..........they charged me 45.00 for a bedroom blind that we never opened. Law says deposit return in 30 days but 45 days later no refund. I called after 30 days was told they had to check to see if the check was cashed but never said the check was sent was told it would take another 2-3 weeks for one week to mail it but they never ever checked if a check was sent. Seems the office has aa rehearsed narrative for people who do not get their refund. This is the same place that touts "we love our residents" it does not show in action they charge for water for when you are not home charge a "valet" service we never agreed to and only saw the service being performed 1 time in 2 years but we paid 25.00 a month.. for what? They force items to your rent that you never agreed to in your lease. Cars being stolen and they don't care about our resident. i can not understand why a company would overcharge rent and refuse to refund money owed we paid for a pet deposit and 40.00 a month for the privilege of having a dog. This is the worst place to ever enter the property

Where to start. This morning I woke up to my car gone..thinking it was stolen. Nope, this places "security" had my car towed for " taken up 2 parking spaces" my car was parked in front of my house and the parking spot they refer to? Is a motorcycle spot I was over the line on. Want to know how many motorcycles park anywhere near here in 2 years? ZERO. And lot was half empty, towed at 4am! This on top of 3 weeks ago my ceiling was leaking everytime upstairs bathroom was flushed. Come to find out they had 6 layers of linoleum down causing the toilet seal to wear out as it couldnt sit flush. I could not use my 2nd bedroom or bathroom for 10 days, as they had to rip up entire floor & had black mold. They would not adjust rent, and left a note on my door @ 445pm ( I was home) offering another unit & had to let them know in 24 hrs, which was impossible & unreasonable & had to do it at my own expense. Why did they do that? To cover there ass. No empathy, no compassion, no common sense or courtesy . No care for there tenants. Oh they sure like to respond to negative reviews, with a canned response to stop in office so they can address concerns. That's bs. I've been in email and in office so many times trying to get issues resolved to no avail. They only respond that way for public consumption & people reading the reviews. But wait! There's more! I had a can thrown throw my front window. I had a crazy neighbor show up on my door after 9pm threatening me and harassing me for something that had zero to do with me. The office yelled at and hung up on my disabled daughter trying to get her packages locked in office and then lied about it. The management here is awful, disrespectful, condescending, lying, rude, never in office. If I acted as they do I would have been fired from my job long ago, but seems they can't hire decent help & promote them instead. They have 200.00 in hidden charges a month on top of rent you cannot opt out of, like " valet trash" for 25 a month, that suddenly started showing up, why? They had some company drop off 5.00 trash cans in front of our house wether we wanted it or not. No one uses it! We have a dumpster near our apartment! This is by far the worst place I've ever lived. If management wasn't a complete nightmare & actually cared? Would make the issues easier to deal with. I pay 2k a month for a 2 bedroom 2.5 bath and get treated like crap. Avoid this place at all cost.

I don't normally bother to leave reviews, but Telegraph Hill is an absolutely horrible place to live. It's impossible to talk to anyone in the front office; they never answer the phone and the office closes randomly for no apparent reason. The water gets shut off with very little notice 2-4 times per month because of "plumbing emergencies." My apartment flooded twice while living here because of plumbing issues. There is no one manning the emergency maintenance phone after office hours, so you have to leave a message and hope someone gets back to you while your apartment fills with water in the middle of the night. There are roaches everywhere. The entire complex is infested with them. At the end of my first year, they increased my rent by 16%. The did not make any significant improvement to my apartment or the complex to justify such an egregious increase.Do not live here, the property managers will not care about you and only want your money.
