I do Photography once a year at this Pre-school with my company, "A Little Glamour Photography." This is a family-run business that clearly knows what they're doing. I notice that for the most part, their staff has been with them for a long time (same for the last three years I've been coming), and I have a lot of repeat kids/families; something you don't see in a lot of centers. As a person who gets to see hundreds of day cares each year, I can say that this is one that I would put my own children in. Rosemary, (the owner) is super sweet and the kids just absolutely love her. You can just tell that the kids are happy, the facility is clean and bright, and everyone is so friendly!

My child was grabbed by a teacher. Marks and scratches were left, and lasted almost a full week. The teacher lied, and the director did nothing about it when I asked any questions. I told by her that I shouldn't complain because they "had been so good to us." She mentioned to me on more than one occasion that "white people" don't put jackets on their children. Terrible place for children who are in their most crucial time in their development.

I used this day care for two months for my infant. There is no security so you can walk in and out of the building as you please. Many times there is no one at the front desk.My biggest complaints were the constant diaper rash, no communication with me or among staff, and a cranky baby. I never got daily activity sheets that the director explained during my tour. So I never knew if he had napped, how many times his diaper was changed or when/how much he ate. Also, the girls that watched over my child never talked to each other. If I had told the girl in the morning that my kid just had his shots, didn't sleep well, or anything the afternoon girl would tell me things that I had warned the morning girl about. It was also annoying that they expected me to provide wipes/ointment that was shared in class but my baby was constantly coming home with diaper rash and no indication of cream to treat it. Of course I was not told about it by the staff either. It got so bad that my child's diaper rash caused a blister. A few times, I picked up my baby early without notice, where he was in a bouncer in front of the tv. There were a ton of other kids which seemed like they supplemented television for care. I can understand some tv but I believe they had it on all day as my baby would be extremely cranky/fussy like he had been overstimulated all day. At this day care they wash clothes, which is nice until you end up with other kid's clothes. The girls were constantly apologizing to parents for mix-ups with clothes, blankets and sometimes bottles.Overall, I was extremely frustrated and disappointed with my child's care at this center. They lacked communication where I never knew what was going on with my child. There was no organization with the children's items and the children themselves such as scheduled nap times/play times/ etc. The director seems overworked and clueless where she makes promises but forgets. I'm sure in their personal lives they are good people. Perhaps the toddler rooms are better structured but this was not the place for me and my baby.
