Thoroughly enjoyed my four years here between two different sized units. The studio style apartment is accommodating and comfortable. I found it to be a great location bordering the NW and NE sides of town. Fantastic view of the mountains as well.

My girlfriend and I lived at Taylor Ranch "Luxury" Apartments for a year. When we first moved in, it was already quite rocky. We were missing parts of our apartment and it was impossible to get work orders done in a timely manner. To their credit, once they switched property managers, the work orders got fixed faster. However, issues kept arising while we lived at Taylor Ranch and as a result, we did not renew our lease. Some of the major issues we encountered are as follows:Had work orders open for months when we first moved in.Our apartment was dirty when we first moved in, laundry closet doors were missing, our garbage disposal did not work, the screen from one of the windows was missing, and several outlets didn't work, as well.We had to call them to fix our garbage disposal and the guy who fixed it forgot a step resulting in our garbage disposal not working again.Amenities:AC was about 20 years old. Not efficient at all, we even had them look at it and that resulted in "That's just how they are". In summer, our electric bill was about $250 for a one bed, one bath because of the AC. Due to the AC being horrible, we ended up having to buy 4 fans in addition to the AC constantly being on. Parking was constantly a nightmare. We ended up using the street parking on Montano Plaza until my car got broken into and robbed. There was a constant ant infestation and massive anthills in front of our apartment that we called them to help us out with. We ended up dealing with it ourselves because they put out traps once and never checked on them again.Additionally, there is a massive amount of sandburs (goatheads) that the complex fails to keep under control or mitigate. During our lease, the pool was only open 2 weeks out of the year.My car got booted and then towed because the covered parking permit was not "correctly displayed" despite me having a permit and the apartment complex having my make, model, and license plate. To top all of this off, the property manager, Valerie, accused of us of having a pitbull that attacked someone and was insistent that they "identified" us in the video. The property manager told us that she was going to file a police report against us and call animal control to take our dogs away. After coming to our apartment, they finally admitted they made a mistake and saw that we did NOT have a pitbull. I kept asking how they "identified" us and they would dodge the question. Finally, our security deposit was returned July 1st even though we vacated the apartment and returned the keys May 28th, 34 days after. I am grateful to be done with this place but I feel sorry for the people who have to deal with rent hikes, cheap appliances, and broken amenities. I hope in the future they treat their tenants better and hold themselves to a higher, less sleazy standard.

Mice...When I first moved in, I thought this place was perfect. Two months down the road and we have found multiple mice in our bathroom cabinets. Maintenance has always come quickly, however, the problem has not been resolved and it doesn't sound like the office staff cares because a resolution is not "immediate" and we cannot help that we "live in a desert." I have lived in ABQ my whole life and have never had issue with mice anywhere else that I have lived. If you do not have an issue with little friends getting into your cabinets, then this is the place for you!

The manager called me when she found a mis-delivered package in my name. I feel so lucky to live at Taylor Ranch Apartments where the staff are so caring. Sergio was also really great about fixing things in the apartment after I moved in. So far so good, thank you team!

If no stars was an option that's what I'd give these apartments. If you have dogs beware of the horrible sticker problem and the MANY exposed uncovered pipes that your dogs leg can fall into like mine did. This company is a horrible company coming from a former employee and resident. This company does not care for they're residents and the ladies and maintenance man here are incompetent. How do you fix an exposed pipe with a smoke detector mount and a rubber sink plug? The answer is you don't. It so sorry to see them half ass everything when it would take less time and effort to do it the right way the first time. Also if you don't like bugs this apartment complex is not for you. The whole property is infested with ants and cockroaches to the point where the exterminator can't even get rid of them. The design is horrible to. There is NO parking after 4 o'clock in the afternoon. All in all this was a horrid place to live and I wouldn't want my worst enemy living here or working for such a horrible company.
