Tasty Tuesdays At Hyder Park

How cool is this event!! About 4 to 5 trucks came for the evening I attended. It was a pretty hot day, high 90s and the shade and breeze under the trees were perfect. Lots of families gathered around and coming together so if you have kids they will have a blast. Went with work friends and we had a great time hanging out and trying out different foods from different places. I completely forgot to take any pictures.... I got the tofu tacos from the Supper Truck! They were scrumptious!!! The Sriracha sour cream was amazing! I also splashed a little more sriracha on top as well! Which if you knew me is huge.. haha been in NM for almost 4 years and before I moved here the hottest sauce I used was the mild hot sauce from Taco Bell.. pretty sad I know.. and I wouldn't eat green Chile either... and now I love it!! Supper Truck service was kind and helpful and fast. I didn't wait long for my order and they tried to be carful about not putting cilantro on my tacos! Much a appreciated.

We had a blast at Tasty Tuesdays! This was our first time attending and being there with Yelp made it even more special.We got to try Nomad's BBQ, Supper Truck, Korean Seoul Food, Street Food Institute, Pop Fizz, and the neighborhood's crepe stand! There was so much food and all of it was delicious! We couldn't believe how generous all the samples were!Yes, the lines to get food were long but compared to the high attendance, they were very reasonable waits. Definitely bring your own chairs, blankets, etc to make yourselves comfortable to listen to the music, eat, play frisbee, etc. Be ready to meet new people because everyone is super friendly!We will definitely come back on future Tuesdays! This was a super fun event!

What an awesome way to relax on a summer weekday evening. So green and grassy, shady and temperate. At least four or five food trucks/vendors, and even a few kids selling cupcakes or something.Bring your own blanket/chair, a frisbee or ball to toss, and maybe even some beers (on the down-low), then kick back and enjoy your marvelous New Mexico weather to the sound of some local musicians. If you're feeling it, show up at 5:30 for some free outdoor yoga!Kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and all-around friendly, whether you live in this hood or not.

My first time to Hyde Park, and my first Tasty Tuesday! What a great event and I hope we have more!! Great job Howie & Kristen, you were a little hard to find, but I think that was a good thing since the turnout was so big! Wonderful park setting with lots of trees and beautiful grass to spread your blanket!! It was especially nice that our daughter & fiancé live down the street and could join us. So nice that each food truck had a special tasting for Yelp Elites, especially the trucks that wanted to showcase what makes their food standout. Sorry, but it was not french fries. The egg roll, marinaded peach and the crepe cake were all very good. Also, thanks Howie for bringing drinks, now we know for next time!The band was playing good music, the yoga group had a real good turnout, and the kids were having fun running and playing. Great way to spend a Tuesday evening at a HAPPY place!

My first Tasty Tuesday!!! Nothing brings a smile to my face more than community....people coming together with friends and family, relaxing, taking time to stop and smell the roses, listen to live music, picnic baskets and blankets, puppies frolicking and children laughing....and can we talk about the noshes?Albuquerque has such an impressive food truck scene, and the 5 that were representing this day were a first for me, I was definitely won over.The Supper Food truck had a really tasty line up a variety of tacos (BBQ Beef, Tofu, Shrimp, Chicken Waffle tacos!!!) and Bahn Mi Sammies, and offered samples of their Italian Parsley Parmesan Fries...wowza. The Street Food Truck let me sample a delicious BBQ Pork Carnitas egg roll with Hoisin Prickly Pear Sauce...guys, it was phenomenal. The Soobak Truck specialized in Korean Seoul Food (bimibap, korean tacos, kimchi, sesame noodles...everything looked amazing) and offered a deep fried peach with kimchi chile and some sort of whipped cream wonderland on top...dreamy. The Shady Farm Crepe Stand offered a taste of their crepe cake with vanilla cream and a raspberry...so fresh and so perfectly sweet! And last but certainly not least, Pop Fizz was handing out mini paletas and I couldn't resist purchasing a mint choco chip taco...it was HUGE!!!!This needs to be on repeat all summer long, so pencil it in folks!

Wow I have been living here in Nob Hill 4 years and never knew I could be doing this on my Tuesday evenings!!!! What a shame! I had a blast. The music was awesome and the food trucks and BBQ was off the chain. Please come experience this! The day was beautiful and the family and friendly atmosphere made it even better. Bored at around 6pm if you bring your mat or not you can do free YOGA! Who can beat that? We brought our own cooler of adult beverages (moderately enjoyed those) and say visiting over superior cuisine, and some gorgeous Albuquerque New Mexico weather and sunset views. Hands down one of my funnest evenings this spring. Highly recommend. And bring your friends!!!

I had been hearing about Tasty Tuesdays at Hyder Park since the beginning of the summer. Unfortunately I never made it over until this Yelp Event. Thanks for putting this together for us Howie! You managed to get those of us who have been wanting to come and never made it, out there!It was a lot of fun and so cool to see so many people come out and just hang out! It's a public park with a lot of patrons. The park is filled with some trees offering shade and lots of grass. Easy enough to pack yourself a picnic basket full of goodies, but why bother when a small group of food trucks come to your rescue on Tuesdays! Today they offered a nice sample for the yelp elite and friends but lets not forget they have a whole menu to choose from as well. The samples that were offered to the yelp family and friends was a nice way taste each trucks style of food. We got parmesan fries, a pork carnitas egg roll, tempura peach, a fresh fruit popsicle and even a layered crepe cake with vanilla creme! Savory to Sweet! What more could we have asked for? There was even a live band setting up upon arrival. They were jamming out nice tunes before long. It was a very nice super cool environment and the music was not too loud either that it would disturb the surrounding residents. It was definitely a sight for all the senses. To be at the park and just enjoying the weather and surroundings. The games that Howie brought were a hit too! Especially the giant bubble making station. So much fun, and the wind levels were just right too!They even have a single porter poddy available for use. They sure did think of everything. I'm glad I got to check it out. I will plan to come again too!

As a newbie to the Q, I am usually oblivious to these types of gigs. However, thanks to Yelp, I received the "Inside Scoop" on this shindig, and I dug it! Great little park, cool peeps and even cooler vibes! Like righteous Dude! Food trucks scattered about, and everyone just Chillin'. I do wish, however, that MORE food trucks would roll in to cut down on the long line issue and maybe some significant live music, but nevertheless, this is cool! Bring your blankets and your own beer (in modest quantities, of course) and enjoy. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out, GO!

You had me at Food Trucks! -- Get the Shrimp Tacos or the Fried Chicken Banh MI from The Supper Truck and end your Food Truck journey with a Paleta from Pop Fizz if he is around... ok, if you have some space before dessert share the BBQ Pork Carnitas Egg Roll from Street Food Institute ONLY with your best friend. P.S.: Bring a blanket and practice some earthing: Hyder Park has an amazing grass!!

Tasty Tuesdays is such a great event. Lots of food truck options and always a great turnout. Highly recommended!
