Well, who would have know that I would find a new favorite place to eat today! All the flavors of India in a buffet. We tried it all and were not disappointed. The Indian iced tea is phenomenal and is perfect for cleansing the palate between bites. We ordered two buffets and two iced teas. Very affordable. The total was around $37 and the service was friendly and excellent.

A friend set up a lunch meeting at Taste of India on Juan Tabo today, and we all had a delightful experience. Karim, the host running the dining room _could not_ have been more welcoming: friendly, teasing, informative - and most of all, on the spot every time you needed anything - the man is a gem. The buffet was varied (good rice, several chicken dishes, one beef dish, several vegetable dishes, nice chutneys, fruits and desserts) and everything was delicious, some things exceptionally so. And - this is worth a special mention - the Indian Iced Tea (a steal at $2, with constant refills) was refreshing and fun - lightly flavored with cardamom, clove, cinnamon and . . . something else. The total before (large and well-deserved, even at a buffet) tip was $34-something for two of us . . . and we're not likely to need supper tonight. We'll be back! (Thanks, Karim!)

Came for the buffet. The food was fresh and prepared well. The ice tea is interesting but good. This place is spaced out well the seats are comfortable. Most Indian restaurants have too many tables cramped into a small place this is not a problem here. However, also like most Indian restaurants the air conditioning is bad. It is hot in there. All part of the authentic experience I guess. My only problem is the naan is not self serve, they bring it to you the way Mexican restaurants serve chips. Other than that their fruit and salad bar was also fresh and tasty. The lunch buffet hours are from like 11-2:30. This is easy to miss but if you are around it's worth the trip.

Simply the most authentic and best Indian food in Albuquerque. Unlike the other places, they use the right spices and their food just tastes so different. Taste of India has been our favorite since they opened, around 2016 or 2017. I love getting takeout, here's our usual order: Tandoori chicken appetizerMeat samose Garlic naanChicken tikka masalaButter chickenAloo gobi Tomato soup (my 7 year old loves it!)Every order comes with one or two pieces of the flat lentil crackers as well as three different chutneys and sauces. The green cilantro minty chutney is my favorite. Don't sleep on this one of a kind restaurant.

Holy cow, this place is amazing! It serves the best Indian food in ABQ. I can't go a week without craving its food. They also have plenty of options for everyone! Their Tandoori chicken starter is ridiculously good.

For Albequerque I have to say this place is pretty good. I ordered off Uber eats - chicken tikka masala, vegetable Samosa and Paneer panora. The food was very well wrapped to make sure none of it spilled when I received it. It was still piping hot. The vegetable Samosa are excellent. The chicken tikka masala had a lot of chicken chunks. All in all I would order from here again.

Service: the server was so nice and funny. He was quick to take our order, quick to bring the food out, and quick to bring us our ticket when we were ready. Outstanding customer service!Food: we all order the chicken tikka masala just different levels of spice. We also ordered garlic naan (if you don't like cilantro beware the naan had a lot of it). The rice is always great and we all loved our tikka masala, it is enough to be able to share a plate with one order IMO. If not for sure you will have enough for lunch the next day. Overall a great dining in experience! We have also ordered pickup from them, still a generous portions and excellent taste!

Decided to give this place a try! Pretty unimpressive from the outside but absolutely worth stopping in. I got the Dal makhani Curry which was recommended by our waiter and it was delicious! Great flavor and generous servings for another meal the next day. We also got Garlic naan which was very tasty and a must for dipping into your food!! The hubby got Chicken tikka masala and said it was good as well. Along with a Mango Lassie which he enjoyed very much! We also got the Mango dessert would need to look up what is was called.. it was also good. All in all the experience was good, service was friendly, helpful and quick. And for the veggie peeps there are plenty of options!
