Quick look rating: 5/5 Quality, 5/5 Service, 5/5 ExperienceWhat a fun cooking store! The Taos Cookery has a large number of southwest items for your kitchen and dining room areas. The southwest colors here on on point, bring your camera! The cookbooks are mostly southwest feel and they have selected some really high quality ones. Picked one out from a Santa Fe restaurant, Cafe Pasqual's, love the book! The pottery and ceramics have a fun southwest feel! Table clothes and placemats are full of fun bright southwest colors!Side note: The street "Bent" is famous and has a number of fun shops close by! You may want to park close by. **Be warned: The driving in Toas, the roads are tight for the most part in town, and some are one way.The customer service is top notch! I'll be back, without a doubt!

Super awesome staff & all the things a cook could want in a tiny welcoming space! Excellent prices as well. I feel so dumb for going to Walmart to get cookie cutters (FYI there were none there) when there were so many here. Thank you so much!

Absolutely my favorite vacation must-stop shop in Taos. Not because it's a HUGE kitchen supply -- but because the items they have in their 3 little rooms are so unique to the Taos area -- especially the works of at least 2 wonderful local potters -- one specializing in fluid, colorful glazes for a southwest kitchen, and another that makes cups and other smaller items out of red local clay/glazes, decorated with local mica and wonderful primitive ravens etc. Every piece of their pottery and ceramics brings me back to the feel and emotional connection to Taos. All this, plus a wonderful selection of gadgets, tools, tableware, bake-ware, and gifts. Excellent local-flavors cookbooks, spices, and local foods. Some of my favorite bits of kitchen have come from here over the years -- from a sculpted set of measuring spoons, to a really wonderful cheese tray. Great selection -- with themes and styles that have evolved and turned my kitchen into a wonderful room of memorable art!Just what a kitchen/gift shop should be -- Right on Bent St. across from the Bent St. Cafe!

I basically was traveling with a 1 carry on bag kind of limitation, so a new dutch oven wasn't exactly on my list, but I have to say, they had really great prices on some really lovely tea towels made in Albuquerque, along with some really gorgeous locally made cards. Really friendly service. I love when I can get in 45 minute conversation over some magnets with a total stranger and wish we were friends in real life.

Rude sales associates that scold youSpent over 350 here 3 weeks agoPart of my purchase included an espresso machine. I was not informed at the time of purchase that no cups or steamer container were included so I could could at least make that purchase. Instead when I return to inquire I am scolded and treated like an idiot so from now on- will not support THIS local business Sad that I was treated like an idiot and bummed that the sales associate raised her voice at me.
