We went here right after we got to the village around 5:00 p.m. for a late lunch to hold us over until dinner. I ordered the chicken tenders and fries, trying to just keep it simple, and my fiance ordered a burger. I upgraded my fries to truffle, and I'm so glad I did because they were amazing! By fiancee also devoured his burger and shared it hit the spot. We are really surprised with the quality, we just didn't really have high expectations but they definitely delivered! This restaurant also has the cutest view over the riverbed and view of the snow mountain, if you want to sit outside on the patio. They also have a pretty generous cocktail happy hour menu and a ton of beer on tap.

I get it, this spot is about convenience, and that they do do exceptionally well. Visiting ski valley pre-ski season gave us one on site dining option...this one, and to be fair my fiancé ate here four times. Personally,, I put in a two count. On both occasions everything here was an almost...well except the service and the doggos, those were both bomb! Kudos to the servers, who are running the front of house independently at this time of year! As for the atmosphere, the second floor is closed to guests given the off season, and the patio overlooking the stream, far too cold to dine in November. That being said, the interior will do ya! There are a few bar seats, and space for solo diners, along with a few options for group dining of all sizes. Fur babies are welcome, unique (likely local) art adorns the wall, and there's always a special if you're looking for something new to try.The ski sauce, a spicy aioli kicked up a notch with gochuyang is delicious, even if you run the risk of your fries being cut too skinny, resulting in the dreaded dry fry on certain days. The 38 pizza- the concept is strong, and the flavors are fine. I personally could not get over the taste of old fry grease in the corners of ours but the crisp was a1...again, almost! With all of that, I almost wanted to give them 4 stars...almost! Low to mid 3 stars feels right atm, but when we're back in town, we're certainly up for giving them another shot!

What a pleasant surprise! We went hiking near there ana then got hangry (sorry to admit) and this place was open! Even though it's off season for skiing. We split a pizza and a burger. They were fairly busy (good for them!) but the single server and one cook really had a good system because it didn't take too long to get our food or anything we needed. It's an order at the counter and find a table sort of place, seemed enough space (though I can't imagine what it's like during ski season!!!) there were outside and inside places to sit and lots of friendly dogs to pet. Yum and fun.

A Fourth of July celebration and hunt for grub led us to the #taosalehouse, in Taos Ski Valley (Mount Wheeler) which is a really busy and noisy bar scene taproom that serves pizza and burgers. We opted for the outdoor patio dining and enjoyed mushroom Swiss and the bacon shredder, served with an order of truffle fries. To drink, it was @stewartsrootbeerhazlet grape soda. Definitely will come back here again! #gourmetrecovery #taosrestaurant #terracedining

We arrived at our place (Alpine Villages and Cottam's Lodge) around 5 and unpacked the car to rush down and get our order in before they closed at 7PM. We ordered 2 pizzas (Sausage Tapenade and 38 Special) along with an IPA and headed out to the patio to enjoy the smooth sounds of the creek running by. It is a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a cold beverage and dinner. The pizzas were Detroit thick crusts that were filling and perfectly made.

Average at best, wanted to share a photo of the pizza because it was not what I was expecting based on the other Yelp photos sadly.

We've eaten at the TSV location numerous times and the food, particularly the burgers, have always been great. But not today! My wife's Diner Burger was absolutely horrible. The patty looked like it was some kind of bulk pre-formed frozen food section meat. It was gray, dry, tough, and tasteless - think school cafeteria quality but worse. My grilled chicken wrap was okay. Maybe since it was a Monday in the off-season they couldn't get the usual good provisions. I hope this isn't a trend...

Visiting from California during their off season. Very hungry after hiking Williams Lake trail. Luckily Taos Ale house had just opened. We ordered a burger and chicken sandwich , both amazing ! Service was great , no complaints . We sat outside and enjoyed the view !
