Rustic setting in the trees. Our PCA club spent 2 nights and was sooo quiet except for the workmen starting at 0700. Definatly ask for A rooms which are remodeled. Wish bar was open but I guess it died with Covid

The management is the problem!They charge before you arrive. Their "answering service" has no answers so if you have issues getting a person who knows something is next to impossible.When they do respond they are rude and unhelpful.Even local residents told us horror stories about this company.

Wonderful little place that welcomed us after a full day of riding. Nice economical rooms clean and functional. Nice restaurant close by as well as 24 hour gas which is critical on a motorcycle. Can't wait to come back through again! Thank you!

Booked a room online for a King Suite. Room that was clean with comfortable furniture. Satellite TV worked well and WiFi available but not very strong. Fireplace in original room wasn't working and window box heater wasn't putting out enough heat for the low outdoor temperatures. Maintenance was able to move me to another unit with a working fireplace and great heat!

I so want to give this place more stars. Beautiful grounds and property. The rooms look great. BUT....the restaurant/bar has been closed for the summer. Not their fault and they're trying to get a new restaurant in there. So when I checked in I dropped my stuff and headed out... didn't get back to the room until about 8 pm. The office is closed.First thing I noticed was the AC didn't appear to be working. Not a huge deal considering it's northern AZ and an open window helped.Second was there was no hot water...I rode in that day on my motorcycle and after a long day of riding I was stiff and sore and was looking for a nice hot shower... unfortunately there was no hot water...I turned on just the hot water tap and was lucky to get Luke warm water.Third after getting up the next morning I went to make coffee only to find that there was still coffee left in the pot from the previous occupant. Fourth...the matress on the bed was horrible....it seemed that the left and right side seemed to lean to the left or right and the only good spot was right in the middle.This is a really nice place and needs to address the issues I stated before I'd go back.

What a great find! I was looking for something special to celebrate an anniversary. Tal-wi-Wi is located in such a pretty area of Arizona. Nice escape from the heat.This lodge had what I wanted.Perfect ambiance with the electric fireplace as the focal point of the room. The jetted hot tub was a treat after a day of hiking. The water stayed hot the entire time it was filling up.Had the restaurant been open, I would have given a five star review.

This is a review for the restaurant as I have never stayed at the lodge. My favorite part about eating here is the meadow that you can look out on to from the large deck and inside the restaurant. Don't get me wrong, the fish and chips and prime rib are fantastic, but the views..... ahhhhh. Nice bar to accompany the great food, some good beers are always available and my uncle gets his fill of Jack Daniels every time we go. Owning a place in Alpine really makes you appreciate a restaurant like this being available, because it is the absolute best thing on a lazy day or after a long day hunting or fishing. Love the Tal Wi Wi lodge restaurant.

We loved this quaint little hotel! Beautiful setting and so much wildlife. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely be back again anytime we want to escape the heat!

We took a day trip and decided to find a place to stay. I went online found this lodge. Booked a room. We were looking for quiet peaceful surroundings. This lodge was perfect. People were friendly. We were accepted even with a dog.Definitely will be back.

I want to start this with that our stay was very nice and very nice room. Food was good at the restaurant. At the time I thought was over priced but after eating at other places near by it is the going rate for area. I think the whole area price gouges during busy times. Was a blues festival going on the weekend we stayed. I have stayed at 5 star hotels and not had to pay 403.00 for 3 nights. That was with a military discount too lol. I was warned up front how much room was when I booked it a month before hand. So no complaints just a little grumbly on the price lol.
