WOW!! We've been here twice now with out-of-town guests and have been blown away every time. The setting is beautiful. Although it is extremely romantic, I wouldn't limit it to that word. It's the type of place you could also go with friends, especially if you get the booths in the VIP area, or the long table near the bar. The food is high quality and the prices are quite reasonable. And the Flamenco is incredible! We usually just see it performed at the Hispanic Cultural Center where we get the cheap seats. It was amazing to see it soooo close. You can see the fingers of the guitarist, the shoes of the dancers, the stage shaking, and every drop of sweat. The dancers are phenomenal - so passionate and their talent is jaw-dropping. We have been completely blown away by the performances. This is a must-do if you are visiting Albuquerque. And, if you live here, it's also a must-do! We plan on going at least a few times per year.

Isobel put it beautifully in her review!! Thank you! This place, I swear, just like most of Albuquerque is going to craptown! I just now wanted to make reservations for Saturday, March 1st 2025. Well their website says Saturday is March 2nd?!? I called to inform them about an error and the snotty woman made it sound like I'm the one who's wrong, by being on the wrong website?! Then she says there's more than one Tablao Flamenco in Albuquerque... total f'n B.S.!!!!! Get your head outta your ass & be better especially for the dumbass prices & terrible food & horrible service. I've been going there since it opened & it's been going downhill every time I go. Have some pride & integrity for fk sake you morons! I'm telling as many people I can to boycott this place until they straighten up! Good luck in your future....lazy jerks!!!

What a wonderful local splurge. Amazing talent (dancers, singers, guitarist, chef). Great service. Had no idea how ABQ can have such professional talent.

What a great experience! I highly recommend it. The singer, guitarist, and dancers were truly amazing on this modest little stage. We also had excellent and prompt service. We came here for their Sunday matinee and we were impressed with the atmosphere, their cocktails and cheese platter. If you're looking for a place to impress your date, look no further.

We came here in 2019 for a flamenco show and were excited to come back. Unfortunately, things have gone completely downhill since then whether due to COVID, management, or something else entirely. For starters, we paid $175 total for the Prix Fixe experience at a VIP table. I'm sad to say this was a complete waste of money. Only the table was accurate, since it was very close to the stage and provided a good view. The food, sadly, was nowhere near worth the money we paid. The appetizer, a chorizo tapas thing, was literally ONE BALL of fried dough. Our salads, which were underdressed and wilted, only came out when we mentioned it to the server. All the other tables had received their salads despite ours being one of the most visible tables in the whole place. Then, the entree, a basque chicken thing, arrived in its tiny (and cold) dish. We were under the impression that we would be eating our meal ALONG WITH the performance, since that is what we did in 2019 and that's what a tablao experience should be. Nope, not even close. Instead, we had to arrive at 6:30 p.m., sit at our table until 7 when dinner service started, and then finish the meal before 8 when the show began. That's an hour and a half of sitting around and waiting, and you can't even order anything else off the menu since it's Prix Fixe. On top of that, service is unpredictable and spotty so we only were able to order one round of drinks. Good thing we ordered a pitcher of sangria since that's the only thing we got the whole night long. Our attempt to order another pitcher was for nothing since it never came. The response? "Oh, sorry about that." The proper response would have been to comp our first round. Especially given the missing salad. While all this was happening, we were informed that the guitarist for the flamenco group was running behind due to car problems. We assumed they would play for longer to make up for the time. But no--despite being 20 minutes late, they only played an extra 5 minutes. How does this make any sense? The dancers, the singer, and the guitarist were all great, by the way. But it was the shortest concert I have ever been to, especially given the two hours spent in a cramped room with poor ventilation waiting for the show to start. I understand that the performers had to wear masks, so that's a factor in the shorter performance. But this wasn't explained at all beforehand. On our tickets it said the show would be an hour and 15 minutes long. Instead, there was an intermission that was never mentioned, so really the show was only about 45 minutes long. Probably the biggest issue I had with the show tonight, however, was the poor safety practices followed regarding COVID. I understand not everywhere is requiring proof of vaccination or a negative test result (although there's no reason not to) but I was told the garage door would be opened to allow for air flow. We were also told that "masks would be encouraged." Well, neither thing happened...my partner had to get up and go ask the hostess to open the garage door and only then did she open it by only a crack. It was a warm night and there was literally no reason not to open it further. Then, staff made zero effort to ask customers to put on masks when walking around the room. That's the least they should have done. One of the waiters had his mask below his nose the entire evening. Super disappointing. In short, nothing about this evening resembled what we experienced two years ago. I wouldn't waste my time or money here. They need to do better.

A good show. I was actually surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did. The show is high energy and the dancing is intense. The guitarist is very, very good and could probably do a stand alone show on flamenco guitar. The women were very talented but the male dancer was off the charts. His expressions and fast footwork were amazing to watch. To me, he provided the best performance. I didn't know much about Flamenco so you might to read a bit about it before you go. It enhances the show. Food was excellent with the meat and cheese platter was divine. The albondigas were a bit spicy but packed a mouthful of flavor. We had the flan for dessert which less firm than other I've had. It was excellent though. I would recommend this fun evening out.

Well, we really wanted to attend this and thought it sounded so fun online and in the "flyers". Advertised at 75-85 dollars, with dinner. Go to get tickets and guess what? A $15.00 "processing fee" for each ticket....there were three of us. So I tried to call.....no answer at all. So I went down to Hotel Albuquerque to see if I could get the tickets there and was treated rudely, and still wasn't able to get tickets. So I e-mailed and asked if I could buy tickets direct without the "processing fee" and was told no, that the fee would be included even if we bought the tickets at the door. SO IN REALITY THE TICKETS ARE 100.00 AND THE 75-85 IS FALSE ADVERTISING. No need to deal with it after that much effort. They might try for a little more customer service....and a little more honesty.

Saw the show on Jun 8, 2018... Fantastic! The dancers were energetic and incredible. We really knew next to nothing about what to appreciate about Flamenco, and we were mesmerized with the stomping and emotion. The live music with the singer and guitar were first rate. The show is staged with all the entertainers on a pie-wedge shaped stage, and it enhanced the performance to see them encourage, celebrate, and admire each other. There are lots of beverage choices. For food we tried the $20 chef's choice plate, which came with a really nice variety of meat, cheese, bread, fig jam,and nuts... and they even subbed other nuts instead of olives for us.Service was pretty slow. Out food finally came right before the show started. Get there early if you want to eat and socialize before the show. Once it starts I don't think you can even order. If you need a refill, there is an intermission. The venue is at a large hotel with huuuuuuuuge bathrooms capable of handling ballrooms and conventions. It's a nice place, and the show was a good value for a $20 ticket. A perfect and unique night out. So glad we went.

Interesting performance and good but unexceptional food. If you already understand Flamenco dance and speak Spanish, you're good. If not, you're on your own. Don't expect any explanation. Don't expect prompt drink service. And don't expect to get any silverware for dessert after they cleared everything with your entrees. Do expect a reprimand for your failure to retain utensils. Fortunately, our neighboring table witnessed the rude server behavior, expressed sympathy, and had unused spoons. Based on the response from locals, the performance was impressive. But we had no idea how to interpret it. We looked forward to this experience but left early very disappointed and irritated.
