My daughter has been at this sylvan for over a year now, she absolutely loves the staff/teachers, and enjoys going in to learn. Her confidence levels in reading have gone up 100%, and they're making sure she stays ahead of the curve with her math. The staff meets with me when I need to address anything, and also to keep me updated on how my daughter is progressing. It may be a little expensive , but we all do what we can for our children to help them succeed. They have loan programs to help you out and they have sales on hours periodically. They work their hardest to help your child reach their potential , and we plan on coming here until she has learned all she can from them. Don't hesitate to drop in and speak with them.

Sylvan Learning Center has been providing my daughter the supplemental tools she needs to improve in math. Sylvan provides a variety of programs from elementary to high school! The students work in small groups no more than three at a time to one teacher. Each child works at their own pace and works on areas until they are mastered. They offer payment plan options and they work with you to create the right program for your child. The director, Anne Lloyd, meets with you monthly to go over your child's progress and areas that need assistance. All the teachers are certified and experienced. Their hours are flexible, after school, evenings and Saturdays. Sylvan is a fun learning experience and the kids can earn "bucks" to buy goodies at their toy store corner as positive incentives. We have seen a difference in our daughter's confidence and school work. Thank you Sylvan Learning Center!

This place is a scam. They do not offer anything more than what a child could learn with a program bought online like ABC mouse. The teachers do not give one on one tutoring. They give the assignment and walk away to the next student in the group and come back to check the student after a few minutes. They are not there helping with each step. The staff lie right to your face and are nothing but salespeople out for a quick buck. The cost is minimum $50/hour and that's if you buy hundreds of hours, so you are locked in for quite some time and have to pay thousands. I signed up because of all the positive reviews, but it must have changed over the years.

I took my kid after school to Sylvan. They don't teach one in one they teach in threes. So in one hour time I paid for 1/3rd if the teachers attention. I traveled a long way for my kid to get to help and it irks me that you could tell that even the teachers didn't want to be there. My son did not improve and it was a waste of time and money!

Sylvan has really improved my sons reading and math. When he first started going he was a couple of grade levels behind and before we knew it, he was right on track! He loves going and loves his tutors! Would highly recommend.

My daughter has been with Sylvan since she was 5, I home schooled her at first and they supplemented what I was lacking. When we moved here to New Mexico I started her right back up. This little family has been hers for the past 4 years now and she has grown leaps and bounds beyond what school has been able to do for her. She has learned to read with then, learned to spell, learned healthy study/learning habits. Her confidence has grown just as much as she has. She loves all of her current and past Sylvan teachers & aides. Even the teacher she argues with over politics. Even though she doesn't come as much now , we've dropped her down to just math 4x a month, it's still an invaluable experience for her. I recommend any child come to Sylvan, not just students struggling, even gifted students gain resources needed for healthy study/learning habits. It's well worth the money, and the amazing directors and owner are always having some sort of sale to help with the costs.
