Swan Song

Swan Song is one of those special places that makes you feel like a local even if you're from out of town. The shop owner is so nice and she has great tips on things to do in the Albuquerque area. The shop is beautifully curated with lots of unique local items. I got a vintage dress with a desert landscape pattern on it, a bag of locally made prickly pear candy, and an embossed leather purse - all at very affordable prices. Great shop!!

If I had a vintage store (someday!?) I would want it to be something like this. You feel a bit transported when entering the blocky new building (how did those developers think that matched El Vado?) into a warm, colorful, maximalist shop. Good range of vintage...probably more 60s-80s than anything else, but there is definitely some earlier stuff and some newer items as well. Good pieces from all eras. Lots of clothes and some decorative and home goods as well. Prices seemed fair. I look forward to going back and exploring!
