Super 6 Tokyo

I shopped around a bit to find a mechanic to do some preventative maintenance on my car - transmission and differential oil mostly, and a couple of other things while I was in. Super 6 Tokyo gave me the lowest quote on the phone, and I'm glad to say that this doesn't seem to be a case of "you get what you pay for". They were cheap and awesome.They open quite early in the morning, so rather than show up at opening like I thought I would I went in at 7:30, already an hour or more into their business day. The guy in the office, Quan, can be a bit hard to follow through his accent but he's the nicest auto shop manager I've ever met and wrote out a work plan with prices remarkably fast - he'd clearly memorized not just labor estimates but also some parts prices for my Subaru. When he took the keys and told me to give them an hour and a half I thought he was being a little too optimistic - but I sat down to read on a very comfy couch in their office and just over an hour later one of the techs parked my car back at the office.Quan went over the work with me, recommended a couple of things I should have done with the next oil change (a recommendation I believe too - not just an upsell), and handed me over to a young woman who I think was his daughter to settle the bill. With that I was on my way. Faster than I expected and with some Super 6 Tokyo swag thrown in to boot. The invoice has a cheesy line at the top about how they want their customers to be customers for life, but hey, I think it worked on me. Next time I'm too lazy to change fluids myself I think I'll just head right to Super 6 Tokyo, and based on my experience this morning I'd trust them with diagnostics as well. It really reinforced the feeling when, while waiting, I saw a few other customers step into the office and be warmly greeted. This place clearly earns their business.

I paid $2000 for several repairs- one of which was to replace the cv boots on my SUV. A week and a half after getting the car back, the cv boot tore while I was driving and the entire wheel came off of my car. The part was never replaced but I was charged for it. My car is totaled now due to frame damage incurred when the wheel came off. 10/22/21 picked up the car, 11/4/21 the wheel came off. They charged me for work they didn't do and parts they didn't replace.

DO NOT GO HERE! I really wanted to make this my go to shop because it's a family owned business. But the repercussions I'm going through cannot be ignored. I was a returning customer, first getting my brake pads replaced in 2023 and then went here in Summer 2024 for my rotors to get shaved and a couple other services. For a few months, at first all seemed good with my car brakes. But then my car started to shake and get bumpy when I braked a few months later. Took it to the Toyota dealership and turns out Super 6 Tokyo completely compromised my rotors and is now racking up a high bill for repairs. Please trust your car with a different shop.

Price is fair (sometimes) but service is horrible I went in for a headlight change because my other one was broken and a BRAND NEW headlight I took in they changed it and when I got it I now have a new issue with my headlight and they tell me it's my fault because it's "aftermarket" even though it was brand new replacement and the guy that worked on it wasn't even concerned saying: "that's normal it's supposed to do that" when I know it's not supposed to not my headlight doesn't work right at all

Don't trust these people they are liars , they are scammers , they are fraud. They ruin your car and have you an estimate to fix that too Dropped off my vehicle for only tpms sensor and they said they will fix it for $90 and when I called that my car is ready I went to pick up my car after driving for 5 minutes my check engine light turned on and called them back they said they can fix it for $650 Total scammers , Fraud , Liars

horrible auto repair shop I brought my jeep gladiator here and they diagnosed it and told me the repair can cost $480 which was reasonable price and I dropped my vehicle so they can fix it. They called the other day telling me the repair cost is $2500 and added nonsense repairs on my car they are Vietnamese not Japanese so don't get scammed by these Vietnamese they all are scammers.

Don't deserve even 1 star they are very bad. The worst auto repair shop in the world .

I am sad to write this review. I have been going to Super 6 Tokyo for about 4 years and sent two family members and a neighbor there. Recently, my vehicle stopped on me and I had it towed to Tokyo. Quan called me and told me that I needed a new transmission, $4500. I only have 82.000 mi on vehicle.He pressured me to hurry and let him know if I wanted the work done so he could order the transmission. I opted for a second opinion and had my vehicle towed to a transmission shop. Was told there was nothing wrong with my transmission. There were old codes on my vehicle from previous work that weren't cleared and some other little thing. Cost me $400 and it's been 2 months, vehicle is running just fine. Tokyo lost 5 customers over this misdiagnosis.

I used to think they were skilled and honest, I now think they are neither. Took a Honda in for lean code and a suspension knocking. After $3,500 I still have the lean code and the suspension still makes the same sound. I'm pretty sure they fix the most likely cause without doing any real diagnosis, then if that doesn't work they fix the next most likely cause. You pay for all their experimentation. Will NEVER return.

Stay Away From This Auto Repair Shop!!!!They Kept Charging Me More and More Money.Car Broke Down Again After I was Told that It was Fully Repaired.Engine light went Back On andI was Told to Bring it Back.I was Charged More andore Money at Total of $1400.00!!!!!And My Care Still Doesn't Seem Right!!!!!!I Will Never Recommend them.Not Honest or Reputable!!!!
