Sunshine Flowers

Anytime I need flowers for a special event or for that special person this is where I like to go. Sunshine Flowers is a quaint little shop on Rio Grande Blvd just north of I25. I prefer to give local businesses my dinero whenever possible.Friday I wanted some roses to take to the cemetery for my daughter's anniversary. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the shop and was asked what she could do for me. I let her know that I wanted roses and how much I wanted to spend. The roses pictured is what I purchased at a more than reasonable price. They were the most fragrant roses ever! My only suggestion would be that they keep more inventory stocked in the freezer and on the shelves, more options is always better. If you're in Albuquerque, NM, please stop by this little shop!

I was traveling to Albuquerque for my mom's 80th Birthday celebration in ABQ. I was told Sunshine Flowers was close to my venue so I called. From the first phone call I could tell they were pretty busy with local old town events going on simultaneously. However she took my order and was as pleasant and accommodating as she could be. The day of the event they showed with the arrangements and were once again pleasant, accommodating, and the product was beautiful. The perfect touch to my moms celebration. Thank you Sunshine Crew! You guys are awesome keep up the great work!

Really nice on the phone. Be warned: They will charge you for delivery even if you pick it up yourself. Bouquet was beautiful. Front desk assistant had a really terrible attitude and was extremely rude. I am very surprised she still has a job.

My teenager says this place is better than I think it is. So I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. She got her prom foliage here, pretty stuff, and no one got stuck with the pins. That's what I remember about prom: the blood on the boutonniere.The shop certainly blooms local. I live right down the street, and throughout the day I often watch the sweet couple who own it hanging out, chatting on the sidewalk, waiting for business. During their first year in business they had a neon Open sign that literally never turned off. At two o'clock in the morning they were open. And I think that's why I never visited; I figured if they couldn't get around to pulling the switch, or cord from the outlet, then I should be wary of their business acumen. But Mothers Day snuck up on me and grandma was deserving (this year), so I called a day ahead of time and picked up a pretty nice spread on Sunday. I liked the soul music soundtrack, didn't like the wait, and was surprised they ran credit cards from a separate tablet, but whatever. The place felt like a rushed, happy-to-finally-be-busy flower shop, the way it should be. And the neon sign issue was fixed a while ago, so I'll be back.

So, I bought this masculine birthday bouquet for my brother on 5/13. Today is 5/18 and no sign of wilt. Absolutely beautiful! Thank you, Lucinda and Cameron!

Lucinda and Cameron go above and beyond to deliver quality service and high quality and beautiful florals. I love flowers and am very particular but Lucinda and Cameron deliver every time!
