Have been eating at Sundance since the 1990's and came back during our last trip to Red River. It was amazing as always. Great place for New Mexican food. It was delicious. I had the sour cream chicken enchiladas with green chilie sauce and it was so delicious. Ended our meal with the sopapillas and they did not disappoint. The service was top notch as well from the hostess to the waitress everything was great. Can't wait to come back and eat there again.

Just not very good food or 'Rita's. Service was good food was just meh. The building is a series layout but there were plenty of tables. The fajitas was ok, we played it safe and got the combo steak and chicken.

Service is the reason I'm giving two stars instead of one star. The food wasn't even mediocre. The red sauce tastes like Cambell's tomato soup with velveta cheese. Not impressed The food is too bland to be referred to as Mexican or Tex-Mex. More like Patio frozen dinners from a long time ago.

Should have checked Yelp before ate here. Funny thing is when we got back to cabin and sat down to review. I found my review from last time ate here 3-4 yrs ago. Not much has changed. Salsa still bland as is the food. Chips were stale as were the corn tortillas. Very disappointed because I used to look forward to eating at Sundance when came to Red River. Service is still very good. Waitress was attentive and very nice. Was disturbed by a person that I know has been at Sundance many years reach bare handed into the bulk chip container where they get customers chips and grab 4 chips and dipped them in the salsa pot where they get the customers salsa and eat them one at a time. Kinda gross and don't think is supposed to happen. Don't plan on going back next or any trip to Red River.

we didn't expect the food to be good. It was the only place that didn't have a long wait but it turned out to be the best food we had all week. chicken tenders and fries for kids was amazing.. the filet with taco soup was insanly good. chicken quesadilla was awesome. my daughter said she salmon was great but the rest of us loved our food. the salsa didn't have much flavor but queso was amazing.. super good and highly recommend
