This is only a partial review as we only partially conquered this hike, but at a total length of .4 miles, I'm pretty sure we saw just about everything before mistakenly taking a wrong turn.During the pandemic, we've been getting to know Mother Nature better than ever, whether we're exploring the beaches of the Rio Grande, the outdoor art gallery that is Petroglyph National Monument, or taking a quick ride to the Sandia Mountains. Sulphur Canyon Trail was our adventure last weekend and there's not a lot to report; like much of the trails in this neck of the woods it was beginner level, occasionally teetering on moderate, a gradual uphill, on a Saturday there were plenty of hikers and dogs but I'm told it's hardly traveled during the week. The trail was easy to follow and now I know that when we saw the sign for Cienega Trail we shouldn't have followed that arrow. Next time we won't.Plan on paying a $3 parking fee and grabbing lunch at a table in the Sulphur Springs picnic area.

What a beautiful trail, so green and shaded for a wonderful hike! 10/10 recommend, slightly challenging inclines with gravel and rocks.
