Studio 6

It's been great because of the amazing price and studio setup. I've never before stayed in a motel with a full-size fridge and stove for cooking anything I want! It's pretty unbelievable to get this for $40/night by booking online (for 7+ nights). But what also made this place great was Jessica at the front desk. She made me feel comfortable by addressing all of my needs and concerns, such as providing a spoon which I had forgotten, where to get coins for the self-serve laundry, and even making sure I got the best price on my bookings. Thank you, Jessica!I'm staying here because I am in Albuquerque looking for a job and possible apartment for longer-term living. But even if I stayed put at Studio 6, the price would actually be livable. There have been no insect friends in my room! A downside of being here, though, is that it's close to a lot of cars passing by, which makes it trickier to go for a quiet, peaceful walk. My room also smelled musty when I got here; it feels like an older building. However, I got used to it and have been in good health while I've been here. I'm grateful to Studio 6 and it's been a great way to make my entrance in New Mexico, which I hope may become my home.P.S. I am a youngish woman and have had no safety concerns at all after my first 10 days here. All I overheard was a couple arguing once. Everyone has seemed to mind their own business.

Hell no!!! Don't stay here!! Let's see where do I start? I do want to add that I've stayed at other motel and studio 6s before, had a restful experience with attentive, and courteous staff in other states most of the time. To begin with, let's start with the office check-in lady. Not only was she extremely rude and unhelpful, I literally had to ask her if I did anything to upset her to which she answered no. I guess she just has an attitude like she just ate a piece of sh!t for lunch. Now the room,.. when I entered the room it smelled like smoke. The bottom of the door has black scuff marks all over it and the door lock area looks like it hasn't been wiped clean in ages. I can basically see the bacteria around it lol . Apparently, they don't care if people smoke in their rooms even though they are marketed as smoke free. The room was extremely dirty, and the floor was not even swept. Their website boast an entire kitchenette. Guess what? The two burner cooktop doesn't even work and the countertop was filthy. I'm looking at the walls and the light fixtures. There's some fuzzy stuff on the top and they look like they haven't been wiped clean in years. The AC heater unit barely works and is super filthy as well. Now let's go to the bathroom. The whole entire floor of the bathroom is dirty and has not been swept. I had to wipe down that counter as well because there were hairs on the sink. The caulking around the bathtub is black, mold or dirt, either way unacceptable. Now it's time to go to sleep... The bedding is gray and dingy . I am wondering if it's even been changed. There are red spots on the side of the bed. I don't know if it's paint or what... I think it's "or what". But I'm tired AF and I lay a towel on the bedding because I'm super grossed out.Day 2... I had to leave and meet some people so I was gone for most of the day . I returned late afternoon only to find my bed, not made, and my only one roll of toilet paper still hanging on for dear life without any extra roll. My one tiny little trashcan located in the bathroom is full and has not been emptied either. So there you go folks. This was my stay at this particular motel six. If I could give negative stars, I would.. I feel trapped here and it was not a restful stay at all. In fact, you would have to pay me to stay here again. The most disgusting motel I've ever been in, collectively. BTW, don't bother complaining or calling the front desk, they don't answer. How do people like this? Have a job? I feel itchy.

Don't ever book this hotel online through Priceline. This hotel doesn't honor what you purchase over Priceline. I booked a 7 days stay at this hotel through Priceline on October 10,2024 and when my daughter tried to check in she was treated like garbage by their employee. They said to her face that they would not honor such low price deal as if it was our fault for trusting Priceline. I don't care if they thought that Priceline final tag was less than $120 for a 7 days stay. I don't care if was a Priceline error.What I do care is how they went about and how they treated my daughter. We end up having to book another hotel at the last minute overpaying for the last minute booking and yet my money was charged by the hotel. I called Priceline and they will be investigating. Independent of anything, the fact they discriminated against my daughter and mistreated her is unacceptable. I don't recommend this hotel and I am going to file a complaint to corporate. If their hotel is on the list on Priceline and the booking went through and payment was charged the hotel should at least have honored the booking and not automatically dismissed my daughter in a discriminatory way. Making me believe that they did that because my daughter is a transgender.

I couldn't even check in. Had to call the corporate number 6 times just to be told they were closed. Even though the door was wide open and there was a sign that said they would be back in ten minutes. If I could give zero stars I would.

This place looks OK from the outside but that's where it ends. I'd give it 0 stars if possible. Arrived in the evening for a three night stay and checked in. Went to the room, opened the door and was hit immediately with a room that REEKED of cigarette smoke though it was a non-smoking room. The bed didn't have a spread and the sheets and one blanket were threadbare and the ONE pillow was flat.The bathroom was filthy with no drain plugs in the sink or shower. This is an ADA room and the toilet was extremely low and the grab bars were at almost shoulder height when seated. No way this is ADA compliant.No other rooms available so we touched it out one night. Woke up to roaches and ants in the kitchen area.STAY AWAY FROM THIS FLEA BAG ROACH INFESTED DUMP!

Great staff and well kept rooms.Got checked in by Lavoia and Theresa and they were more than helpful,social and great at their job.

This was my experience at Motel 6. This was like previous reviews, a bad experience. First I'll start with check in...check in is at 3pm... even states it on this locations website. I pull up around 3pm I notice a small line of people waiting to check in, which was odd, I get there, there's 2 people in front of me...oh by the way there is no lobby it's a small cube and the front desk is protected behind a blast explosive reinforced glass. So I'm waiting 5 minutes and wondering what's the hold up nothing is happening. I ended up waiting another 10 minutes, finally I popped in and asked the other 2 what the hold up was, and they said they didn't know, then front desk guy miraculously appeared and said check in isn't until 3:30...which was bs, and I told him "check in is at 3pm man and you have a line of people waiting."He then said it's shift change and we are counting cash drawers. So literally he ignored the 2 people infront of me until I started asking what was the long hold up for. So around 3:30 they started processing us like inmates to get our rooms, bad experience right out the gates. The next issue is this is a bad location don't book here seriously just because you saw that the price was cheap or convenient location you get what you pay for...not worth the deal Trust Me...NO SERIOUSLY TRUST ME!!!!There is a lot of sketchy people, homeless, drug addicts that linger in this motel lot, and a lot of sketchy traffic all hours of the night, like previous reviews there seems to be certain motel rooms in building 2 that are Operating/selling drugs, & some long term tenants,I was in building 2 there is really no lighting at night at that building, sketchy AF. House keeping does not come around until you actually check out of room, so if you're thinking of getting new bed sheets or towel daily... not happenin, also the beds have just one sheet of covers, there is no full bed set with a comforter. I read the previous reviews but still booked here to give it the benefit of the doubt, absolutely regret booking here, if you have a young family DO NOT BOOK HERE! IT IS NOT SAFE! You might think it's a deal/ bargain, I'm warning you ‼ DON'T DO IT! I regret booking here, and should have listened to previous people's reviews here.

Would I stay again? Hell no! I got suckered into giving a $100.00 cash deposit. I was told because I was leaving early a check would be sent. After two weeks and no check, I called Studio 6. I was told checks aren't sent and the money was deposited. I'm out a $100.00. I just submitted a police report. Another thing, I called Motel 6 corporate and they apologized this wasn't mentioned when reserving and is legit. I'm done with Motel 6!

The room is fairly run down, there is a broken drawer, a broken outlet cover, the bathroom sink drains slow, no trash can in the room and the bathroom is dirty (toilet has a ring, bathtub has someone else's hair, and I had to clean the sinks. I brought cleaning supplies after reading the other reviews. We also had to spray for bugs, see photo, one dead bug.
