The staff is amazingly helpful and kind. The store has a very nice selection of fabric with comparable prices.

Pros: excellent customer service, variety of patters to pick from, offer classes for adults and kids. Cons: expensive, limited hours, owner wasn't friendly. I won't go for fabric again. To make two standard pillow cases I spent nearly $55. Attending a class is a possibility.

Women owned shop! In a strange location, but on a well-known road in ABQ - Rio Grande. Across the side street from the Co-op. If you are a seamstress, or wanting to be one (they have classes!) this little shop is worth checking out. My foray into sewing years ago proved that I need to stick to sewing buttons on and repairing small teares in garments. But . . . having said that . . . I was totally awed by the fantastic display of materials and finished projects. Some of the most beautiful cottons & wools. Colorful! Elegant! Eye catching. Might even be worth taking a class for this clutz! Or just buy a piece or two of your favorite patterns and frame them. Definitely stop in this shop when you pass by - give yourself a little exploring time. A hidden gem.

Please support local quilt shops! This space is darling and has a nice selection of quilters cotton as well as other materials, patterns and notions. Staff were friendly and welcoming. They also have a nice sewing studio for classes. Glad I had the chance to visit!

While visiting in Albuquerque, I found this store online and definitely didn't want to pass up the opportunity to go there!!! Two ladies were both helpful and allowed me to browse and make my selections. They have beautiful fabrics and I purchased several pieces but could have bought more!! Prices are a bit high but they carry the best quality! I would definitely come again if I were in Albuquerque. Thank you ladies for your service and such a lovely, clean and well organized store!

She has great fabric but not a generous bone in her body and a snotty attitude. I was complimenting her graduating from the same school as my daughter and she indicated that the school had gone down from when she was a student. "They accept just about anyone...". Nice.I spent $119. and she credited my discount card with only $100, she cuts her fabric a little shy too! No wonder I have only gone in twice since she opened and the second time I was desperate. Never again.

Stitchology - Albuquerque, NMI have been on a pretty big fabric kick lately, and I have been trying to check out new stores outside of Hobby Lobby and Joann's. Recently I tried out another new-to-me local fabric store, and decided to try this one out too. First off, this store feels almost impossibly hard to get to. I'm not sure if everyone else feels that way, or if it is just my lack of experience driving around on Rio Grande, but it was an absolute headache to get here, and then park. I realize this store can only do so much about this, but I'm just saying it's a bit of a rough location. Unfortunately, that is one reason why my visits here will be extremely limited, if at all.The store was cute, clean, and nice. However, the owner and another employee working were just hiding in the back of the store most of the time I was in the store, which had to have been at least half an hour to an hour tops. I was quickly greeted when I came in the store, but alas, that was about as far as any communication between myself and the store associates went. I didn't exactly need to have a full-blown conversation, I really just wanted to browse, but I felt like I was a ghost in the store almost. Prices were fair, but a little on the pricier side per yard. The prints were cute, and some were really unique, but some were just a little pricey. The store didn't feel as organized as some others, and it felt like I probably overlooked a lot due to the poor organization of the store. When I finally was ready to check out, luckily one associate had come back to the front to check me out. Someone had been in right before me, and this associate spent most of the time with that customer. That customer was new to the store as well, and the associate was a lot more personable with her. Asked if she had a discount card and so on. When I checked out, I got asked if I was ready to check out, and then a thank you once my $32 had left my account. That was about it.Overall, my experience in here was pretty mediocre, and my impressions on the store overall feel about the same. It wasn't good, it wasn't bad, but I also probably won't really come back all that often. Perhaps it was just an off time, or off day. I'd give the store another shot, and I'd recommend anyone looking for some new and unique fabrics to at least check it out, too.

This store is very cute and has lots of great options, but vibes were off... I saw another review mentioning a similar experience about being a minority being treated strangely- we were ignored and the person behind us was greeted happily, and the entire time we were in there we were what I would describe as being "supervised", asking if we need help with a negative attitude. I'm just a person that likes to sew browsing a new store and it made me feel like I was being treated like I was expected to steal something? Stars for the selection, stars off for the energy. My husband even said "this selection is great but why are we not being treated like normal people".

I love the fabric and thread! Last year I bought a bunch of quilting squares to make masks and I really enjoy wearing them. I bought more quilting squares to make cloth napkins. I have done two sewing classes and the instructors are so nice, patient, and helpful. I'm not very good at picking out fabric and thread and the staff is so friendly and helpful. They make me feel welcome even though I don't sew much and I'm not a quilter. If you are new to sewing and need a place that's not intimidating, this is the place to go.
