Had my furnace go out due to a surge, i got to my witts end and physical stamina end trying to troubleshoot it in its cramped location. Called a competitor first, and after a 2 week wait, they not only wanted me to pay for about 3k of extra work before they could fix $1500 repair estimate, and kept pointing out that that may not even fully fix it, but if so. they could then replace it for a total of about $8500... announcing they have financing. mind you they charged me $80 to tell me this.. and they also left all the sides off the furnace, and stepped in the middle of my attic access panel breaking it into a bunch of parts (found later).. Well enough about the other guys. After them I called both Stewards and another company, figuring whomever got to me first would win, or at least i'd have a 3rd opinion if they jerked me around too. Fernando from Stewards scheduled about a week out(this was the busy season) they actually called that morning to get me looked at early. Fernando and his helper, both were super polite and did a good job of tracing the problem down to 2 bad transformers. but thought the control board looked ok. Said he would have to hunt for the transformers, and would email me a quote. Which they came through with an estimate later on that day, and I called them back and said do it! They had to special order the transformers, so it took a few days, but when they came in, they scheduled a time, showed up and fixed it in about 1/2 an hour. total? $280 ... much better than $4000-8000 vs the other guys.

Stewards may not be the cheapest plumber, but they do quality work AND STAND BEHIND IT! We have had them out to the house several times in past few months! They fixed our disposal, moved and resized a radiant heat unit, diagnosed our hot water heater issue (for free, they were here for another reason. Most recently they fixed a plumbing leak in our copper pipes in the floor. When the same pipe sprung ANOTHER leak two weeks later they fixed it again without charging me! We have seen all but one or two of their technicians. They are courteous, professional, and do everything they can to get a good result and leave a satisfied customer. HIGHLY recommend these good folks!

I have used Stewards Plumbing multiple times in the past and this week was no different. Monday afternoon when I turned the swamp on, there was no air coming into the house. After crawling on the roof to figure out what was wrong, I quickly realized the blower motor had seized up. My wife, being the worrier she is, and my lack of electrical knowledge, convinced me to call in the experts. I called Stewards that same afternoon.Stewards Plumbing came out the next day. We had scheduled an arrival between 1 and 3pm. At 12, Steve (the assigned plumber/HVAC guy) called to ask if he could arrive EARLY. After his initial assessment, I was informed that the problem wasn't JUST the motor. He also showed me pictures of the parts that needed repair or replacement (bearings, spider, pumps, pads, etc.). It should be stated I have a very large swamp cooler (I special ordered it years ago). Within 30 minutes of asking Steve for a quote, I received it via email from Eric, the owner. Having been through this before with other companies, I braced myself for a 4 digit cost. Eric's quote came in at a fraction of what the largest commercial/residential plumbing/HVAC companies are charging for the same work and no where near the $1000 I was expecting. Knowing that many of the parts I needed had to be special ordered (pads, larger pullies, etc.) I took the next available appointment. The parts came in the next day and Steve was back out the morning after. A little over 2 hours later and Steve was done. He showed me everything that was rebuilt or replaced and didn't try talk down to me as other companies have done in the past. Cost, efficiency, and professionalism. Stewards Plumbing will be my plumber for as long as they are in business.

Quality work by professional people. We had a main line water leak under our concrete driveway. They excavated a hole, located the faulty pipe, which was co-located in the same area as the gas and phone, and did a very professional job of repair. Good folks, easy to work with and I recommend them.

We had a major gas leak back in January and contacted several plumbing companies including stewards plumbing to come fix the problem. Stewards plumbing was the only company available to come out on the same day, and although we appreciate stewards plumbing coming to help so quickly to get us heat again, the work was less than ideal. Here are some of the issues:- [ ] Appliances did not fit back in place because the piping was not well planned or appropriately joined,- [ ] appliances were not hooked up when we were told to bring nm gas back out to turn on the gas, - [ ] three unnecessary holes were drilled into our roof, - [ ] drywall was removed from the furnace room without prior notification that they would not fix it, - [ ] our garage was used as storage for them for 3 days after the work was completed because they just "had to get to other tickets". Upon the first major rain in Albuquerque, we discovered that the area they drilled three times (unnecessarily!) was improperly patched. It turns out they DO NOT guarantee their roof work because they are not professional roofers, therefore they will not fix their work or pay to fix what they damaged. The owner finally offered to pay for half of the repair, but would only go with his choice...who quoted 3x as much as our own trusted roofer. We truly felt that professionalism was lacking and the overall quality of their work was poor.

Our regular plumber kind of bungled a faucet installation. Fernando came out and figured out the issue. We had to replace a pipe to the tub faucet which involved going in through the wall behind the shower. He did that, replaced the faucet so it wouldn't leak, and replaced the faucet with a new one. Put an access panel in to cover the hole in the wall. Everything works perfectly now. They did a great job and were really nice. Cleaned up well and so no mess was left at all. Highly recommend!

My daughter gave me the company's name, because a friend of hers had nothing but good to say about your company. I just had had new granite installed and needed the new sink faucet to be installed. First, although my disposal was running, they said they did not have the right part to connect it, so I gave permission for a new Badger 5 to be installed (around 100 dollars).. Finally, they finished installing my one hole faucet and connections ...$609.75. They had not finished because they said another hole must be drilled to insert a vent.I had the granite people back to drill a new hole and purchased a stainless vent to match my faucet. They arrived with a shiny chrome one that did not match my faucet...thankfully I had purchased the right one...and they finished with another bill of $90.78
