Steel Bender Brewyard

I happen to come across this place on my way to get beef jerky at vigils. I never expected to find this awesome place!!Your best bet is to get a flight because there are so many awesome beers to try! Most of this time I'd tell you about the beers I tried but you really just have to try them all as they have some very unique stuff!! Then the food... so good!! I wish I got the green chile stew but the sliders and green chile strips were amazing

We went to Steel Bender for lunch, it had been a while since since we had been there. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was amazing. She kept up on the tea refills. We started out with the green Chile strips, they came out super fast and were so delicious. I ordered the fish and chips, and the pieces were large. The fries were super crispy. My husband ordered the nachos with the brewyard chili. The prices were very reasonable for the food that we got. I even had leftovers for later.

Always enjoy this place. Good service and great food. Always enjoy the fried green chili strips.One thing that bothered me was when they whipped down the tables they did not wring out the towel and it was just wet almost the entire meal, attention to detail helps.I did enjoy the wings and fries

It was lunch time and I was hungry so we went to steel bender and we went in and got sat down immediately. A nice waiter took our order of drinks and of course I got a Dr Pepper. After I got my Dr Pepper I ordered a build your own burger I put an egg on my burger cause I'm fancy like that. I ate the first bite and it tasted like heaven it was so good. And then I ate all my food and overall 5 stars.

Went for NY Day lunch. We arrived around 1120 and it wasn't terribly busy yet. We sat at the bar and had great service. We started with the green Chile strips which are so good with the red Chile ranch dressing. We each had the grilled Chicken sandwich, make mine New Mexico style which includes green Chile, cheese sauce, red onions, tomato and lettuce. I ordered mine without the bun and it was served on two large pieces of fresh, romaine lettuce. Hubby had green Chile stew as his side. I tasted it and it was good. My only thought on the green Chile stew is was not quite hot enough (temperature not heat level of the Chile). The chicken was good as usually. My side salad was a generous portion with cheese, croutons, tomatoes and cucumbers. The beers are solid. It had been a minute since we have been here and it did not disappoint.

First time here but not my last. Excellent food choices, fun new beers to try. Solid fries. Those green chile strips were... WOW. Had a great server and it's a standard brewery with all the industrial look and wood tables. Lots of TVs.

Steel bender is a cool hangout. The food could use some sprucing up. They need to compete more . Pulled pork sandwiches not overwhelming. Burger good, salad, average. Cider, a strong no, tasteless. The place packs people in and a distant Pedal Haus (phoenix) vibe. More menu items and an upgrade of existing items would make it an epic place to chill. Music could use an upgrade too!

Fav brewery in terms of vegetarian options available! They have creative options like a vegan version of a sloppy Joe. The BEST is their vegan wings... *chefs kiss* it's perfectly saucy and crunchy. There aren't many breweries I head to for a meal when I don't want a beer & this is one of them.

This is a wonderful place to socialize and there are plenty of parking spots. I just thought the place was pretty hopping in the evening!That said, I wished they had more non alcoholic options and that the staff was more attentive (we had to wait for a bit to order/get serviced. One of my friends got his order forgotten..so it really took a long time for him just to get his beer). But overall, the staff was generally helpful.

Came in for late night beers and food on a Tuesday night and definitely not disappointed! The beers were delicious, the atmosphere was fun and the food was tasty! We had a great bartender! The sour beers were great and ipas were crisp! The burger with the green chile so good!
