Steamatic of Albuquerque and Santa Fe

I was referred by a family member(who gets $25 off their next cleaning for the referral). Called on a Monday and made an appointment for Friday. Someone called to confirm my appointment the day before as well as confirm my quote. My ENTIRE house, upstairs, downstairs, and the stairs only cost $200. That's a deal in my book. Very professional. Only took about 2 hours. Deep cleaned the carpet and steamed out a few spots. He even cleaned a spot I could never get out of the area rug at my front door... that's taking care of a customer! The process was easy. The cost was low. I called when the job was complete and paid over the phone and received my receipt within an hour. In order to maintain the 10 year warranty on my carpet, I need to have my carpet cleaned once a year (guess who I'll be calling in a year?). Thank you for such a seamless experience.

We've used Steamatic for years. They do a great job; at our office they always work hard not to disturb the staff any more than necessary. And of course the do a great job on the carpets also.At home, what can I say, They keep my wife happy, (no small feat). You can tell they know what they are doing and they care about the job they do. Very Happy! We had out vents cleaned on a saturday morning. Martin and Malacai arrived on-time and were super polite, courteous and professional. Our dog was totally affectionate and relaxed toward them and that is the ultimate test for us! They moved through our house carefully, explained their tools, and also how they preferred to work from the back of the house to the front. They even cleaned out our furnace housing for us! That saved me at least two hours of swearing and doing it with my little hand vacuum. I really appreciated that. They offered to show us all the yuck that came out of the vents and I took a picture of it for our landlord. Ver cool. I would recommend Steamatic of Albuquerque to my friends and family.

Steamatic is FABULOUS! 5 Star! We had some major pipe breaks after our heat went out for a day in mid winter and the pipes froze. Steamatic was out that very day ripping open the ceilings and putting huge fans plus other remediation. They saved us and and spent hours monitoring and making sure we were taken care of. The "son" that women spoke of was remarkable and professional. The dad (the owner) is still there and never turned it over to his son. The son had another opportunity and no longer works there, but both were beyond experts. They are anything, but deceitful. They are one of the kindest, most respectful companies I have had the please with whom to work. I am a Realtor and have used Steamatic to remediate a home my buyers wanted to buy to get rid of smoke damage. I couldn't imagine anyone could get rid of it, but they did! My buyers are happy in their new home. I would call Steamatic again in a heartbeat.

I would give these guys a quarter star if I could. Our water heater failed and flooded our bedroom closet. Called these guys who were prompt to come out to my home- that was it... they place three fans and one space heater in my closet. Chained them together to dry my floor- they cut my sheetrock up about 18", removed the insulation, the carpet and the padding. )We had a plumber who drained and removed the heater- at our expense.) Steamatic left advising us to leave the equipment running till they returned on Monday. We had been approved by our ins co to stay in a motel until we could get water back, however,the equipment kept shutting down due to over heating, we were concerned about fire risks, and should it shut down, someone had to be here to reset them. SO, my husband, who was fresh out of knee surgery stayed in a hotel, and I stayed here in the house. When we reported this to Steamatic they said they would take care of it. They did bring out newer fans/heaters, but still CHARGED us for use of the delapidated equipiment which kept shutting off... they also removed the belly liner and unsulation from under our home, placed a heater there. To do so, they had to remove one of the tiers of block under our home=- when they left, they did not replace the tiers, denied moving them and refused to put them back in place... Holy PETE- I was furious. Per the adjuster, we still had to pay them the bill, and if we wanted to, take them to court.... we have had to pay someone to reset the tier of block and their son advised us it was our word against theirs regarding them being moved. We will never do business with them again. Unfair billing, shoddy equipment, deceitful when it came to them moving those block= buyer beware- these guys are awful. Their dad was great when he ran it, he has since turned it over to his son who is likened to a "used car salesmen"= This kid had to nerve to tell me the black stuff on my carpet and wall was not mold, and to quote "most people are too stupid to know what mold smells like" when I asked him to repeat what he said , and to quote " well I shouldnt have said it like that, but most people do not know what mold looks like or smells like", too bad he didnt make a comment like that in the beginning- I would have gone with another company.... bad in deed=- oh they charged us over 1800 for what I described above, we still had to pay another 1200 to another contractor to finish the repairs=- DO NOT USE THESE GUYS- you can find any number of companies who will do this type of work beginning to end for less than what they charged us for half the job.

Mold customers Beware!!!Steamatic was hired and removed mold from our home. But will not give us the homeowners the mold report.Amy refuses to give us the mold reports taken from our home. Months ago. She refuses to answer our calls or text messages. What are they hiding? As a homeowner with open mold in my kitchen where my wife and kids eat. I demand the mold report pre and post remediation.They had my wife sign all there papers before work started but now will not release the mold reports from the kitchen and garage?Someone needs to do something you can't withhold information from the homeowner and ignore us.If I sell my home this could cause me legal issues due to mold non disclosure issues.So far I do not trust!

After a water pipe break under our slab flooded our home Streamatic came in to dry out the water and remove the mold. Then they reconstructed the damage better than new. They were professional and made a terrible situation livable.

These guys come out to clean out the vents for the most part they were great I just wish they would've cleaned up the dirt they left behind from the vents.

AIR DUCT CLEANINGThey are certified by NADCA to clean vents, but sent out people who DO NOT have that certification. I needed loose blown fiberglass removed and they did that. But shouldn't they have used a mask? They did not use proper techniques.For example:1. Negative pressure collection system was not used (Nadca videos say this is the proper way after the brushes are used. Not using negative pressure can release contaminates. (The brush just drew dust into the vacumn that was 6 inches below - tell me no contaminates escaped.)2. The process should take between 3-5 hours. (Took less 2 including dryer.) 3. The EPA says typical cleaning costs between $400-$1000 and that the entire system needs to be cleaned to be effective. Beware of specials claiming lower (the special was $200 for 10 vents.)NADCA - National Air Duct Cleaners Association - EPA recommends using NADCA approved

We had our carpets cleaned today by Obed. He was very professional and did a wonderful job. We will recommend him to friends and family.
