Stardust Skies Park

Lots of trees for shade, a playground that is decent but like most of the playgrounds in ABQ could stand a bit more covering for the safety of the kids going down those slides. We stopped here for a quick lunchtime picnic and enjoyed our 30 minutes.

Sweet little neighborhood park tucked away off Montgomery, with some big fields to roam around, a few trees to climb, and some playground equipment, including slides and swings (big kid swings and bucket swings both). It's in my regular rotation, because the convenient location and fact that I've never seen it crowded make it easy to stop by, however briefly, when the kids could use some park time. I'd say this play structure is good for preschoolers but kids much older than 5-6 might find it a little boring or tire of it quickly. A great park to stop by on your way home!
