Sparky's Subaru Specialist

Thank you, Sparky's. My check engine light came on during a long-distance trip and Sparky's was able to grab the code (a problem with the external temperature probe) and replace it without the car having to wait at the shop (something difficult to do pre-Holiday). The dealership in ABQ was telling me they had openings in January and I was on a road-trip and I'm sure they would have quoted me a ridiculous price- even a few hundred just to run an OBDII scan. Thanks you Monica, Tony, and everyone at Sparky's.

Great service from some really nice people. They solved my problems and did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. I'll be taking my Subaru back to them in the future.

Had to bring my car back within two days both times. Second time they did not hook up the spark plug wires correctly causing one to come out of the wires to come out of the tube. I believe the intentionly did shoddy work because i declined to have them do a $600 spark plug job. Was told my wires were oil soaked and they commonly come out of the tubes. No other mechanic agrees. Somehow a plug they say is oil soaked can push a tube off the safety clasp and 6" out of the tube. Ben was miserable to work with calling me after to yell and curse, making sure to add "your car is a piece of shit" and to tell me to "never come back" to his shop. Very disappointed, will be going to another mechanic to verify they actually did the work I was charged for. Do not recommend Ben Wade or Sparkys at all.

Awesome service, great communications during maintenance, and solid team of experts. Highly recommend! This has become our one-stop shop for both our Subaru's.

Full disclosure...I haven't actually had any work done there YET, but when I learned they were Subaru specialists, I thought I'd give them a try. There was some work I thought I needed to have done, but their honesty made me rethink it for now. I really respect that and I'll make a point of returning for future work. And another thing: there were three adorable dogs in the lobby to greet customers. Always a plus!

Good work, fair prices, a little slow on getting my car done and out the door, but they are always busy and that's a good thing.Avoid dealerships, support your local small businesses like these guys.

Their technician, Tony, is very knowledgeable and efficient. He tuned up my car and got it in top condition for my trip in a quick, efficient manner. Answered all my questions in a friendly, informative manner. Their prices are reasonable and don't overcharge the customer so they can pay for their fancy, new showrooms like other Subaru places in town. Definitely going to highly recommend them to everyone!

I originally took my subaru to them to have an overheating issue taken care of. After misdiagnosing the overheating problem and having me spend over 2k on parts I didn't need to fix it, i had to put a whole new motor into it due to a blown head gasket(THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM) putting me out over 5k in total expenses for parts and labor. Due to the high cost of everything i did have to leave the car at their lot for quite some time which was unfortunate for both parties. After some months i called to speak to the owner about getting some more service done and one of their employees (Monica) laughed at me over the phone when i asked to speak to Ben. After speaking with Ben (Owner) he fired me from the business. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE GOES TO THIS BUSINESS FOR ANY SERVICE. SUBARU EXPERTS MY $%@. can't even diagnose a blown head gasket (THE MOST COMMON ISSUE WITH OLDER SUBARU'S THAT OVERHEAT)

Good work. Had check engine light turn on. It ended up being wire issue and map tensor needed to be replace. Satisfied with service.
