This was our very first experience with Culligan - we purchased a house with a Culligan system already in place. Mitchell came out as scheduled. He was extremely pleasant and explained literally everything about the equipment, how to maintain it, how it operated, and how our house was plumbed (to make sure the outside spigots were not putting out salted / softened water. Mitchell tested our water and calibrated the equipment for its best production for our consumption. Mitchell thoroughly inspected the equipment as I requested. He hauled in salt and filled the tank. Overall a good experience with a new vendor. And Mitchell deserves a strong letter of approval in his folder - good company representative. If I have a negative comment, it is the seemingly HIGH price for a service call. But as long as the hard equipment does not break or need repairs, I can buy the salt and put it into the tank myself, thus avoiding a service call fee or other delivery fee. That higher than expected service call fee is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars. But most certainly 5 stars for Mitchell.

I had a Culligan High Efficiency Water softener installed in my home, with no issues at this point. I would highly recommend getting a Culligan water softener, you do get what you pay for.

Beware using this company. They will let you set up auto pay, but if there is an issue with your payment they won't tell you , they just let your over due amount build and build, until you notice a problem, then claim "they had been calling you." Anyway the customer care is garbage and thier willingness to help customers and admit their failure to communicate is non existent. Also thier lease equipment doesn't work alot of the time. I paid for 3 months and during that period the damn thing wasn't even working. Had to have them come out multiple times to fix thier equipment. Just don't do it.

DO NOT SIGN with these people, they are crooks. They signed us up for a 1 year contract and told us at that time if we sold our home during the one year we could transfer the contract to the new buyer and we would have no other obligation. If the new buyer did not want the water softener then they would pick it up and we would have to pay for the first year. Fair enough. After we sold our home their sales rep asked me to put them in touch with the new buyer to sign them up. Their sales rep again told us if the new buyer signs we are no longer required to pay So we spoke to the buyer and they signed up for the water softener. A week after the buyer signs, we get a call from Culligan Collections Department saying we owe them for a full year rent even though the new buyer signed up. They said the salesman was wrong and in our contract we agreed to pay for a full year regardless. Now they want US and the NEW Buyer to pay for the same system for the same period at the same time for one year.Southwest Water Conditioning and Culligan are a scam, stay well clear of this company and their shady practice. We will be fighting them in court over this. We would have never signed up the new buyer to double pay them if we had known this.

DO NOT rent a water softener from this group!!! I used them for about 3 years. The water softener I rented worked only about 50% of the time. When I had them remove it their "plumber" absolutely destroyed my water access loop. Seriously, it looked like a 5 year old tried to piece it back together. I'm going to have to pay a real plumber to repair the damage done. When this was brought to their attention I was told, quite rudely that they would not in any way remedy the situation. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GROUP!!

I guarantee you'll regret calling this company. Unprofessional is an understatement. No clue to what they're doing. Their plumbing is not measured. It's not plum it's not level. Leaks all over. I've never seen pipes sweated so bad in my life. It takes him a very long time. When sweating the pipes they burned my sheet rock. Poked holes in the wall. And they appeared to be intoxicated

I had been with Culligan for a few years and quality of water and service was fine. Then in the past year the water smelled and tasted FOUL. It continued for months, and I finally cancelled because no improvement. When I called to cancel, THEY KNEW THE WATER WAS TAINTED and had not contacted me, kept delivering tainted water. It has been two month now and I still have not received a refund for the full returned bottles and the deposit on all seven bottles. I just called and the owner is out of town for a week and cannot refund my money until then. Very happy with my new water provider Crystal Springs. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES AND TAINTED WATER. STAY AWAY.

I cancelled Culligan rental and called them a few times to pick up the equipment...they never did. When the equipment started leaking and filled my garage with water I called again. A technition arrived a few hours later. He told me that he would have to collect a check for $137.00 because he had no way to check if I was in arrears on the weekend. He said that I should call Ciulligan the following Monday and if I didn't owe anything they would tear up the check. When I called they claimed they could not find that I ever had an account with them and of course they had already cashed my check. Since I didn't have any old checks to prove that did have an account with them..only a garage full of their equipment ..I am out $137.00. Quite a scam.

Poor customer service. I've called to get service on a system they installed. Two weekends later they still haven't followed up. I will be using another service going forward. Poor poor customer service. When they finally called back they weren't even concerned that nothing had been done in weeks.
