Southwest Vinyl

We called and requested a quote from southwest vinyl for privacy fence. We were having difficulty finding a place that could add onto our fence since the blocks are capped. Their guy came out and offered several solutions, options, colors, etc. They had their installation guys come out within a month and they did a great job.

Had southwest vinyl come out and give us quote on replacing our old wood backyard fence. There quote was competitive to the others we got and they were the only one that was prompt and done when they said it would be done. The installers were friendly and professional. They had the whole fence up in less then two weeks and we love the fence.

I just had a very lengthy wall topper installed. I originally called for the estimate about 3 weeks ago. Mike came out within two days and measured, showed me the product, and even recommended a possible less expensive approach of simply more cinder block. I did receive the quote as promised via email and wanted to schedule asap. While Mike was great in person, he did not respond to my follow up calls. I just went through Kimberly at their office and everything was scheduled no problems.We choose the vinyl topper and it was installed. The crew (two guys) who actually did the install were really great. Super friendly, hard working, and completed it all in one day. The topper looks great so I would say that overall it was really great working with them. You Just might have to take a little more initiative to get things scheduled.Michelle G

We had SWV come to our home during Covid and they did an OUTSTANDING job. Created a wall and a storage area with a door - plus built some curves for us in the Fence line. Today - 10/31/24 - They came back again to Expand upon the job they did the first time. Only took them the afternoon and the results are 100% Perfect. The price is very reasonable and the product they use has held up so well that you can't tell (truly) where the old job left off and the new installation picked up. REALLY GOOD! Thanks to the "Oscars" (3 generations) to Kimberly and to do Dalen. Well done!

Great service from Kim in the office and John in the warehouse. The product is easy enough to put together for a DIY.

STAY AWAY!!!! Worst experience of our life. We had the owner (Ron) come to our house to give us a quote to raise our wall. We asked about permits needed and anything that we need to get approval from the city before work begins. He assured us more than once that he could raise the wall without any permits, plans, etc.Well that was last August and since then we have been contacted by the city stating our wall must be approved by an engineer. We inquired with Ron about this and he has been absolutely unhelpful in this entire process.We are now left with a wall that needs to be torn down and rebuilt and Ron is nowhere to be seen. He has stopped contacting us and will not return calls, emails, texts.Needless to say, I would never recommend this company and good luck if they mess up the job. They just simply stop communicating. We are out thousands of dollars and the city will take us to court if we don't remove the wall. Like I said earlier, worst experience ever!

My only regret is that I didn't do this sooner. The Oscars (Sr, Jr, and III) tore down my old wooden fence of 30yrs and replaced my fence and gate with such precision that it was like watching synchronized swimming. It was obvious that this was not just a job to them, but a skill they have obviously perfected over the years. I could not be more pleased. Although the job was done over 6 weeks ago, I still go outside very day to admire my new acquisition. If you are considering vinyl fencing, you cannot go wrong with Southwest Vinyl. Kudos to the company and it's workers. Color me beyond happy.p.s. I don't know why Yelp shows me in San Francisco, I absolutely live in Albuquerque, N.M.

I had the fencing (wall) and topper installed around my yard. All was good until 12/12/2018 when there was a very strong wind and the wall in front of my house which was not installed very well came loose. Called Southwest Vinyl and was informed that Oscar would be out to fix it the next day around 3pm. The day Oscar was too come to my house I took the day off of work. That same day I got a phone call from Ron around 1pm informing me that I owed more money and it would not be fixed until I paid the amount owed. I do not agree. I wasted a day waiting to get the wall fixed and now I will have to figure out a way to brace it before the next big wind. Since the damaged section of wall is at the front of my house people will see it and they will also see the Southwest Vinyl badge that is on the end of the finished wall. I hope they will think before giving Southwest Vinyl a call.
