I don't understand why they make appointments and then make you wait 45 minutes plus. If I was to be 45 minutes late they wouldn't even see me....Typically behavior from medical providers.

I saw Dr. Bath today and I was so disappointed. My appointment was at 10:30AM and once I saw the doctor it was closer to 11AM. Keep in mind I arrived at 10AM. I didn't mind the wait, after all it took several weeks to get me in and I know how offices can get behind. Once Dr.Bath came in I had three things I wanted to discuss which I communicated to the medical assistant. She addressed one and couldn't get out of the door fast enough. I let her know I had a couple other things I wanted to discuss and she turned around and couldn't have looked more annoyed and at that point she had only been in the room 5 minutes. Advice to Dr. Bath: if you can't even act like you care about patients concerns you have no business being a doctor. I think this office needs some new blood and by that I mean someone who is younger and more open minded.

After my primary got sick and left the practice I was shuffled around 3 other doctors non of which wanted to handle my medications because I had already seen other doctors and when I asked marry- Ann the manager to help me she basically told me I'm SOL and should try another provider. Very unprofessional they basically kicked me to the curb after they racked up three new visits. I will say the service I got from the primary I was seeing was very good she was professional kind and informative as I'm sure most of the doctors here are but when there's a problem with scheduling there needs to be someone willing to take initiative.

I needed an appointment immediately and I was scheduled for one for the following morning. The front office staff was wonderful. The nurse was fabulous. Dr.Bond was so kind. It was my first time at this office. I couldn't ask for better care. Thank you so much Southwest Medical Associates.

I had left Southwest Medical Associates because of the exact reasons other reviewers posted. The office was cold and unfriendly and Dr. Hennelly was abysmal. When my insurance changed, I reluctantly returned to them four years later to establish as a new patient. I was a little leery after I scheduled my new patient appointment over the phone because the person I spoke to was a bit curt. However, when it came to the actual office visit,I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The office staff was friendly and efficient. The nurse who triaged me apologized for the doctor being 15 minutes late. Fifteen minutes? Wow...if it had been an hour late I would have taken an apology but 15 minutes was nothing.Doctor Tran was well worth the wait. She was extremely thorough, answered all my questions, and it didn't feel like she was rushing me. She also didn't cut me off or patronize me, something I've come to expect from physicians.I'm cautiously optimistic right now, and if Southwest Medical Associates continues in the same vein that I saw yesterday I'll be glad I came back.

My insurance is with Aetna. After confirming with Aetna that the Dr I was to see was contracted with them, I made an appt. the day before my appt, I was called and told they would not accept my insurance so nothing would be covered. I called my insurance co and they offered to call and talk with them. We were assured it would be covered. I called the office to make another appt with the Aetna assoc on the line, but was told flatly that they would not accept Aetna. Conflicting information by the staff there, and the person I talked to twice, Amber, was very unfriendly and curt. I would not recommend this clinic.

Very rude people over there! From the VERY rude so called operator #1 is very mean and condescending. Talk about not having any people skills and no patience I would never hire someone like that. All it takes is one person one bad seed to make the entire group of South West Medical associates look very unprofessional and tacky. The nurse I saw for my appointment was very rude! Ive only had one UTI's in my life so when I went to Walgreens to ask the pharmacists what to take and she said AZO pretty sure I shouldn't be chewed out because I did what the pharmacists told me to do. I did not study to be a nurse so how the hell am I suppose to know that. The employees need some major training on how to appropriately talk to people! Worst experience Ive ever had!!!!!!!

I had the worst experience ever from SW Medical Associates! I was having a horrible time getting ahold of my Dr.--Thomas Gross--or his medical assistant over a 2 month period, in order to receive feedback on my repeat labs that came out poorly (he had promised me he would call me to let me know what to do if the results were bad, which they were). You can't call him or his assistant up direcly--they require you to leave a message with the front-office staff to pass on to the Dr....which I did *several* times over a couple months...and in the end his assistant claimed to have never received any of these messages. When she eventually called me (after I left a message for the Medical Director about it), she asked me "what more do you want? We already sent you a copy of the results." I had to explain to her that I'm not the Dr--I need feedback/explanations/instructions based on those bad results. A couple of weeks later, they just called in a prescription to my pharmacy, without even letting me know beforehand they were doing so, or what the prescription was for....After all this I attempted to change my primary care Dr. from him to someone else, and they wouldn't let me! They said that as Dr. Gross was already my primary care Dr, none of the other Dr's there could accept me as a new patient! I even spoke personally with one Supervisor there, and also as far up as the Medical Director, whom both reassured me they were taking care of this and I would be able to see someone else there as my primary. They begged me to give them another chance--they'd fix my problem they said. But after telling me this I *still* wasn't able to get accepted to be seen by another Dr there! And when I left a message for the Director about this on his direct line, he never called me back!Absolutlely the worst run Medical office I've ever dealt with, as they have zero follow up skills and lie to your face every opportunity they get! They just want your money and don't care about your well-being, which last time I heard was supposed to be the primary concern of a Dr's office! Turn the other way!!!!

Southwest Medical is the WORST. Made an appointment last week for my husband. We got there yesterday and the receptionist said that the girl I made the appointment with never put it into the computer. The Doctor was standing right there. I said but my husband is very sick. This no good, low life, poor excuse for a doctor said "so take him to urgent care". This lazy piece of garbage probably wanted to go home because it was 4:30 PM. Apparently SW Medical Associates never heard of the Hippocratic Oath! I left a voicemail for the office manager yester so that I could file a complaint. Oh yea, like she'll ever call me back.
