Leaving my rifle was the start of my problems. I waited almost 6 months to be told if I wanted it done he was only going to do it his way!!!! Huh???? I'm the customer and I wanted what I was paying for. It was a relatively simple job and should have only taken a couple of hours. If he didn't want to do it my way why didn't he say so from the start? I could have left with no hard feelings. I waited almost a month to get it back afterwards. But, I should have done more research. One person I talked with afterwards waited over 2 yrs to get his firearm back. The workmanship was shoddy and there were expensive pieces missing. I ended up sending the rifle to an out of state gunsmith and he did exactly what I wanted - with a 2 week turn around. If you want a $7000 competition pistol this may be your guy, but any other gunsmith work save yourself the headache and look somewhere else! It's too bad, I wanted to support a local business.

Called on phone. Talked to a guy who talked to the guy who didn't want to just get a simple part or get back to me with an estimate without me dropping off my gun and said it needed some BS work. I'll have to get it somewhere else I have been dealing with guns and a law enforcement instructor since the 80's. My reliable guy has passed on. Hard to find honest, reliable craftsmen. My leather guy retired too. Passed on business to his family. Not the same
