Southwest Child Care

Our son, now a year old, has been in this childcare center since he was about 8 weeks old. They have caring multicultural teachers and great, supportive front office people. They've also been very positive as regards our family makeup in specific. We're looking forward to the next years at this center before school begins for our son.

poor communication, rude staff, uncaring people. Very disorganized. Worst place I've put my son in ! ! I really wish that I would have chosen another preschool for my son. Uncomfortable goin in every day. My son was enrolled for maybe 3 weeks the staff was very aggressively rude when it came to communication. My son was coming home everyday talking about how the teachers are mean everyday that I walked in, and they had something every day to say to me wen I walked in...and they had something DIFFERENTto tell me. My son has been in different centers since he was a baby. Albuquerque nursery. Noah's ark. And never in my life did I feel the need to move him unless it was our location. Everyday walking in was so stressful, wondering what are they going to tell me the next time I walk in. My recommendation is choose another preschool because I know I am. When I had first gone and they scheduled me a home visit,then without any notice the day of the home visit they told me that they weren't going to make it, then they had schedules me another day and once again very rudely the other teacher told me that she was in charge and that I had no home visit the day that I had asked if they were coming. An incident happened one day with my child. And no one knew what happened, yet at the parent-teacher conference they said that everything was fine and that it wasn't my son's fault. And upon the third time it was brought up to me the lady in the office Karen said that my son just went and started being mean to everyone out of nowhere.I had already talked to the staff three times I don't understand why they kept coming up to me telling me about my child about the same incident and none of the stories matched up. I went to go ask who I talk to in the parent-teacher conference. And they just sent me away telling me to talk to the lady in the office that I have was just talking to. I got fairly upset and I really don't feel the need to feel that way , my son loves School. Stress levels were skyrocket. I really wish I had a chosen another preschool to begin with.
