It was my first time here. I honestly didn't know this place existed till I visited across the way from Keller's Farm Store. Decided to walk over there and go check it out. Entered into a spacious area and friendly staff. It was early Saturday morning and there were many people in the drive through. I really thought it was something else and not a coffee shop. I'm glad I got a chance to try it out.Their menu is very simplistic. But it was definitely worth trying. I had an iced chai lavender tea latte, yummy. And my husband tried their sugar free hazelnut hot latte. So amazingly delicious!! We were definitely impressed and we will definitely be back to try it again.

Adorable coffee shop, friendly service and phenomenal drip coffee! Very smooth, zero bitterness and it has cherry and chocolate notes. Sopo roasts their own beans and their drip is fantastic! A must try and a wonderful local coffee shop on the west side!!!

By the end of 2020, my list of compliments for this Calvary-connected cafe were piling up pretty high. During the you-have-no-life pandemic, Sopo was a bright spot, somewhere we often stopped when we were out on daily walks, to break up the monotony, catch a caffeine buzz and delight our kiddo. She usually had tea and if she'd been really good, lately, we bought her hot chocolate. Laura liked the ever-changing lattes listed on the board by the register, she got them with almond milk, and I thought the cold brew was pretty good. Everything was served up by very friendly employees at prices that honestly beat anything in town.Actions have consequences, Calvary. Your decision to hold an enormous indoor Christmas eve service at your main campus, indoors, directly violating state mandates, landing on national news, not only embarrassed New Mexico, it thoroughly upset people like me, who have refused to violate the same mandates because I care about the welfare of other people. Your exceptionalism isn't neighborly, it isn't humane and it certainly isn't Christian. You lost some customers.

It's about time I tried this place. The drive thru at this location is a game changer! I will say that the drive thru speaker is very quiet so you have to hope the surrounding environment isn't too loud. They had a great seasonal menu as well as seasonal pastries. I got the lavender latte and a lemon poppyseed muffin and they were both A+! Staff is friendly and service is fast!

I can't begin to describe my appreciation for this great coffee shop!I am relocating from Houston and was apartment hunting across the West side when I saw a sign on Montano that read: "Coffee / Drive Thru"Sopo is sealing the deal in my decision to settle down in this area. The interior is airy, spacious, and has an industrial feel. It's rows of community tables and outside you'll find a nice little patio area. The delicious cold brew and the even more delicious nitro cold brew is only $3! The pour-over is also really, really good -- and so are the doughnuts. The staff is warm and friendly. The restrooms are a paradise -- that's the only real way to describe them. And, of course, there is ample parking.Definitely drop by. It's a much-welcomed addition compared to the chain coffee places on this side of town. They do close like at noon on Sundays, just FYI...

I can't even express how much the west side needed a good local coffee shop. Local coffee is seriously lacking over here in the dust bowl. I was considering opening one myself...except that meant I'd have to put my career on hold which I wasn't fond of. If you want coffee over here, you've got a handful of Starbucks, a Dunkin', and McDonalds. You have to get on the freeway for a decent local shop. I literally stumbled upon Sopo. I happened to look to my right while driving to get my daughter from daycare and actually made a U-turn to check out this coffee shop that had mysteriously planted itself in my hood. Apparently, they've been open since May. Who knew? They are right near the new Calvary Church where the old Hastings used to be off of Montano and Coors. I think this coffee shop is affiliated with Calvary. Onto the coffee...smooth, like butter. I mean..NO bitterness here. I had an iced latte and it was so refreshing. They have a punch card, which is a plus. They also have a drive thru for your busy days. The price is low to average. I'm pretty sure they have cold brew on draft. The barista talked about "craft coffee". I know I like craft beer; I like the sound of craft coffee..sign me up!! I'll be back when I'm in the area...which by the way is always. So yes..I'll be back all the time!

Fair warning- this is in fact attached to the neighboring church, and we came on a Sunday morning not knowing this. The church service was on the overhead speaker of the coffee shop, at a pretty decent volume. . Great if you are attending church and want to step out for a coffee, not great if you were hoping to drink a coffee and have a conversation with someone. Service was friendly, but sadly the coffee was mediocre at best. I just got a plain latte, and the beans were not high quality. I wish we had more local coffee shops on the west side, and this one was a big disappointment.
