Holy cow. I'm sick and all I want is comfort food. The Chicken Green chile Stew is heaven, and may have saved my life. The Pozole was fantastic! Not like my brother makes it but smoky and rich and I love it. And this may be odd to say, but they packed them perfectly so there was no spilling and really good napkins

Un lugar decente para buenas sopas! Las ventajas de sopa loca es la ubicación y además el hecho de que cierran hasta tarde (10PM). Encontré este lugar cuando necesitaba caldo/sopa de pollo y ningún otro lugar estaba abierto! El lugar está más o menos escondido porque está adentro de El Bandido, comparten el mismo local. No probé ninguna otra sopa más que la de noodles y pollo y la de pechuga de pollo y ambas las recomendaría.

I ordered the Soup combo from Uber Eats. Large servings of everything. Lots of chicken and rice in the soup, but it was very salty and the broth tasted canned. Nice fresh onion & cilantro garnish though. Chips were stale, salsa tasted like juice from a jar or can of escabeche vegetables with a bit of canned tomatillo added. Flour tortilla was gummy. Chocolate cake was rich and sweet, but not house made. So, a disappointment overall and not the new favorite I hoped to discover.

Ugh! I was craving Menudo and tamales....The tamales were dry and small 6 for $11? and the Maza needs improvement needs more manteca and salt/flavor. what was that sauce on the side? No taste sauce, not worth the price. The menudo, no flavor what so ever. needs a lot of improvement. the bread that came with the menudo tasted like if it was grilled with old oil. menudo can use a lime on the side. the drinks were good. Hope this helps improve the quality of the food at sopa loca. Chef needs to check him/her self. won't eat there again!
