Sole Comfort Shoes

Just bought my first pair of Birkenstock's as a late birthday present to myself. This was place amazing with their customer service during a pandemic. Cynthia was out of this world amazing!!! Thank you so much for the new shoes and being amazing at your job! Keep up the good work. I appreciate you!

I went there with my son because we had been recommended by a doctor. He had very flat feet. We walk in and the employees were busy so we sat down to wait our turn. Then, another customer walked in and was served, then another, then another. So we left. I will never return. We were never acknowledged.

I got a great foot evaluation and new pair of shoes. They completely changed the way I walk.

Rip off! $50 for an evaluation that you can get down the street at Heart and Sole for free! Sold me a pair of shoes $20 more than Manufacturer was selling them! I took them back & not returning. Total sham!

I spoke to Peggy this morning regarding my frustration with my podiatrist I like the idea of getting custom made sandals but I am skeptical about paying $75 for a 30 minute evaluation when I have already spent $$$$$ on the custom made arch supports. Peggy did spend a good amount of time on the phone with me however.

I had hip replacement surgery and have a leg discrepancy this place was 100% amazing. They got me fitted and customized the shoes. So family friendly, they practice Covid safety procedures. Would recommend this place over and over again!! I seen peg amd her granddaughter, both are incredible.

I was excited to find out that Sole Comfort Shoes carries the Alegria brand, so I immediately went there. What a disappointment! Alegria makes shoes in many colors, but the only choices at Sole Comfort were black and brown. Also, their prices were ten dollars more than what I pay elsewhere. I was told by the owner/manager that more colors would be arriving any day. I went back to the store several more times. Again, my only choices were black or brown, so I gave up.This time I wanted a pair of Haflinger shoes. The website did not list Haflinger as one of their brands so I called the store. The man who answered stated that they do carry Haflinger, but only the clogs which is what I needed. Before I could respond, he proceeded to list all the other brands the store carries. When I told him I was only interested in Halflinger, he got snippy and said, "I was only trying to tell you the other brands we carry." I said, "Thank you." There was complete silence on the other end, so I hung up. I prefer to shop locally, but I'll just go ahead and purchase the clogs on line. This was my last attempt at purchasing shoes at this store. I am not impressed.

Bought shoes for my husband who has been having foot pain from standing a lot at work. He has also been working a lot and could not come with me to the store to try on the shoes. I bought a pair(of very EXPENSIVE shoes) for him and the sales lady told me to have him try then out in the house for a couple of days to see how they work and we could bring them back within a week if they did not work out. The shoes did not work out and we attempted to return the shoes within the week and they refused to take them back. Talk about out right LYING to customers. Thanks for nothing. I was going to take my husband in for one of their very expensive foot analysis appointments to see if there was a better fit for him, but NOT anymore. I would not recommend buying from this shoe store.

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT, go to this business. They stole $500 from my grandmother. I took her in to get 3 different pairs of shoes lifted. The first ones were in store so we bought them, paid for the shoes themselves, the consultation fee, and the lift on them. We got those ones just fine. However, we ordered another pair of sandals that they didn't have in stock in her size, and they told us they would be getting them in a few weeks. So we paid for those sandals, the lift, another consultation fee and an attachment to go on top. When we saw the finished product, we didn't like the color of the top piece Jim added, so he agreed to patch that up. We then ordered a third pair of shoes and paid for them, that they also didn't have in stock. When we went to go pick up the sandals, they told us that they didn't have them and that we had already picked them up. They then said they would search the store. When we called the next day to try and figure out what had happened, Jim refused to talk to us directly and had us talk to someone else instead. When we tried to explain that we didn't pick up the shoes, they accused us of lying and said we took them. We obviously had not gotten the shoes. When we asked for a refund on the shoes in question and the third pair of shoes we had pre-paid for that had not yet arrived in the store, they laughed in our faces and refused. When asked who the owner was, the worker said that that wasn't relevant. My grandmother is now $500 short, and doesn't have shoes she needs to fix her balance. We have to start the process over again with another store.

I was sold shoes that were the wrong fit!! My heel slipped up and down and rubbed blisters all over my feet!! When I traveled 2 1/2 hours to get the situation fixed, I was told it would take trial and error and my purchasing MORE shoes and expensive orthotics in order to have the right fit...each time I would have to pay for them!!! The attendant even tried to diagnose me as a diabetic- something that would surprise my doctor!! I am now stuck with expensive bricks and they refused to fix the situation. THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE WITH FOOT PROBLEMS! Save yourself the pain that I went through...find somewhere else.
