The management and customer service needs to be replaced.Their delivery service sucks & they will do nothing about it. I spent hours on & off the phone with Smiths & Instacart. I filed a TIP form with ICE. I expect delivery personnel to read & understand spoken English. Instecart fell short.

Pretty standard Smith's stuff. Groceries, some flowers, some basic pharmaceuticals. For Edgewood, this is almost your only option for these sorts of things unless you count Wal-Mart up the road.Pretty busy location, right at the convergence of the two main thoroughfares. They have gas, too.

Good Smiths. I always have a wonderful time when I come here, the people are friendly and treat strangers like family. Must be good management, trickling down everybody.

Good customer service, great sales- but lets talk about the meat department- very disappointed in this area- seems they add a great deal of water to their ground beef- had placed some in my basket- had to walk to far end of store to get something I forgot. By the time I got to the check out, the blood/water had separated and was leaking a trail behind me. When I lifted the tray from my cart the blood/water poured out all over the place. The cashier offered it to me for half price... NOT- so, I do not purchase their meats. Will buy other prepackaged- Tyson etc.- but advise to think twice otherwise... ewwwww- I gave them a moderate/high rating on cost because of the issue with the meat. One pound of ground beef nets out about a half pound once added water is removed. This also holds true for the fresh meats steaks, pork etc... this doesn't seem to be the case if you buy another vendors products

I love our Smiths pharmacy. I've been going there since it was built. The people are always so friendly; unlike in bigger cities. The phone and computer system could use an update but that is my only complaint. Oh an' they have a shortage of workers right now, but that is not their fault.

I have shopped at Smith's, Edgewood, ever since it was built many years ago. It was worthy of high ratings in the past. Too bad that's so long gone. The store is more or less OK, however the checkout process has become exceptionally, remarkably, awful. They have reduced staff check out with cashiers down to two available at a time. The rest is all self checkout. Normally, I prefer self check out, however the machines at Smith's are abominable. One day recently every single item I purchased, a whole cart full of items, rang up the alert that authorization was needed. Since when is special authorization needed to buy fresh, organic, produce, let alone napkins, milk, etc., etc. I have a close friend who works there who even told me that he will not shop there because of the checkout mess. He goes to a local Walmart. I have shopped at many other Smiths in Albuquerque, and none of them have such an abominable checkout situation as this one. It almost seems as though they have gone out of their way to make the check out process as loathsome as possible.
