Smith's Food & Drug

Our go-to Smith's. Although their prices are a little bit more expensive than Walmart, they have really decent deals like save $1 if you buy 5. I bought 5 different Oreo packs and Pepperidge Farm cookies at $3.49 each. This location has a sushi bar. I'm not sure if other locations have it. They are privately owned and have deals once in a while. They used to have coupons. Rn, they have $6 sushi on Wednesdays. They change the sushi every day. I wish that they discounted day-old packs that didn't get sold to limit waste. Sometimes, their sushi rice can be hard being in the fridge for awhile, but the time I went on a Thursday, the sushi rice was good, not hard at all! I devoured the Spicy tempura shrimp roll! The sashimi on the combo pack was thin, but that's to be expected, but overall the roll and nigiri tasted good. Definitely will see what Wednesdays look like. I imagine mostly the $6 rolls (which could be the cooked rolls).

This is a very large supermarket and it's in decent condition. I stopped in after spending the day at the auto shop and was looking for dinner. The salad bar caught my eye and I had a few ideas for what to put in a box, but... no boxes. And no tubs. What? I checked in a few cabinets and didn't see them. Okay, moving on.Instead, I got a few things to make sandwiches and that was enough. Prices were medium,The store is clean and tidy. Lots of space. I have had to order my food since my knee operation. I have been upset about the lack of dairy free sour cream and yoghurt and other products. You can't order online quite a few item that are standard. Delivery only. And the produce I received today was appalling. I orders 10 carrots. 5 were bendable. The others had black centers. Who picks out the produce?? Who is the produce manager?? These should have been recycled to a mulch pile. The package of mushrooms were all wet and moldy so those I immediately tossed out. This store serves the entire Four Hills community and other neighborhood. Shame on them. They will be going out of business soon due to lousy management.

This looks to be a fairly new store and those are always nice. There is a liquor, wine, and beer selection, though the beer selection is a bit on the light side. Oddly, for how much spicy food is a fixture of this area, the hot sauce selection here is lacking. Store is clean, bright, easy to move around in, as are most Smith's generally. There are also gas pumps, though they are odd in that they are one way only and the signs then encourage you to drape the fucking hose across your vehicle so that it can face the street, which seems a strange thing to want...

Aubrey "knows how to do her job" and has a great smile, but doesn't know when to get the manager involved when she gets her panties in a snit. On top of that, the manager who was FINALLY called to assist, also doesn't know how to take care of people. Diana had a solution only a moron would go for. Manager #3, if he was a manager, I didn't get his name, but his first solution was our first solution. So, my husband & I wasted 1 1/2 hours, arguing with snotty brats who were butt hurt because we were right. But it is my local/closest grocer and 3 stars for that. Amanda needs to be a little less bitchy at the end of her shift, too. I love my Smith's because... Well, it's not WM. Although it was a difficult, and unnecessarily dragged out, transaction, everyone was smiling and laughing at the end and was reassured that none of it was personal.

Always understaffed and if you go to the self check out it is caótico. You don't get kind service S an older elderly person . They just push you along and and get you moving out . One checker put a big tray of meat on my bag and pushed me along and the , while I was trying to leave , accuses ne of stealing. I had ni idea what was going on. The. The security guard grabbed my bag of goods that I had paid for and yelled at le . He said "bag lady get it . You are trespassing"It's had no idea what was gapping. I have ptsd . We decided to come to smiths because it's convenient and "thought" it would be a quicker stop. There were no staff checkers, only self checkout. The line for self checkout was over 30 people long. Only 1/2 of the self checkouts were operational. I went up to customer service to see if they could help somehow. There was no one at customer service. I waited and waited, no one came. If we hadn't spent 30 mins already finding our groceries, we would have left. The only person I could find to help me was security, and he quickly informed me he couldn't do anything because he's only security. My husband used to be very loyal to smiths. We won't be back. This is unacceptable. If I could post a zero score, I would.

was just here and wanted to report problem with my checker. asked to speak with manager and woman said there was no one working now, then she asked what it was about and I said wanted to speak with management about a checker all of a sudden she "remembered " she was a manager. why is it managers are never working or just don't want to hear from the customers who pay their salaries.

The pharmacy people are wonderful!The store was nice. Nothing bad at all. I'm not sure why it got 2 stars

Asked for help. No one came. Asked a cashier he called on the speaker and said that's all he could do. No one came. Ever. Trashy store. Very dirty. Half dressed homeless people in the doorway. The cashiers were the only employees I saw in the store.
