Smiling Faces

I have been hearing about Smiling Faces for years, all good things. I took the family out tonight and had a great meal. I highly recommend the stuffed sopapilla and bacon cheese burger! Portion sizes are great, everyone had some to bring home. Two appetizers, four drinks, four entrees for $104.00

Excellent service and delicious food. I had the shredded beef Navajo taco and it was delicious and huuuge. It made for 3 meals! My companions had the ground beef and chicken Navajo tacos and everyone was very happy with their meal. I would definitely go back here again!

We have been backpacking for the last 3 days and we're craving some enchiladas. The service was outstanding and it was so nice to sit on the patio. Love that you get enchiladas with a choice of sopapilla or a tortilla. We got one of each. It did not disappoint!

Came in expecting lots of emojis and was met with a lot of religious items on every surface. The food was alright. The sopaipillas were delicious.

We were driving north on a road trip and were getting out of our car at Smiling Faces restaurant and a lady approached us directly asked us if we were with the graduation. We said no. Then she said in the most snide voice possible, "then we are closed; you can come back tomorrow if you want." Then she walked away. I can understand closing for a private party but she didn't have to be so rude about it. We drove one mile north and went to Dave's Diner and it was excellent!Next time you go through Las Vegas, New Mexico, stop in Dave's Diner. They do a great spread! AND!!!...they are super nice...

Great Mexican food! The largest sopapillas on the planet, I'm not kidding, and nice and light.

Chile had a nice bite to it, salsa wasn't very spicy though. Good amount of food for the price. Friendly service

Man! This place is GOOoOoOD!!Authentic, huge portions, and delicious Despite being short staffed due to a sick call, the staff worked very hard. One amazing cook whooped out quality food in a timely manner. We didn't get to meet Santana, but that guy deserves a raise. If you want kind and personalized service (thank you Aubrey!!), you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend

We stumbled on this place and boy are we glad we did. I had the Breakfast enchilada plate with both red and green salsas; the red was good, but the green was spectacular. My partner had the breakfast burrito, which was huge and full of bacon (her meat choice). The service was friendly and attentive, the environment pleasant with locals enjoying Chef Santana's deliciousness. Thank you for a memorable breakfast!

OK, I know these places are holes in the walls but when you're traveling for a very long time and you ask what the best restaurant in town is because you're tired of fast food, that's what you would like is food that is better than fast food. Don't go here just do fast food I paid 30 some odd dollars for horrible tasting food. I have never had a tamale a cheese enchilada and let's talk about the rice and beans so bad in my lifetime and I'm not a spring chicken step up your food people are spending HARD EARNINGS HERE and they don't deserve to befed icky food!
