Was the first time in I will say the staff is very friendly. Was great customer service. As for the food the portion size is very small the three strips were maybe the total of half a chicken breast. Thought it was a bit over priced.

My grown son's choice of quick service chicken establishments and they killed it today!I hate to say we've had a rather hit or miss experience with this place and fortunately today was a hit!!!Order was well prepared, accurate and ready for pickup as promised.While we got takeout today and his typical order (cayenne ranch chicken sandwich), I can attest to a clean and well decorated interior! We are sissy's treated well, greeted upon arrival and just a great experience today!Thabks Slim Chickens Rio Rancho!!!

First time here. My family and I wanted to try and eat inside, but the door was locked so we went through the drive-through, which is still OK because it wasn't a long line like it has been for weeks. The wait wasn't that long in the drive thru, which is a plus since again it's our first time here. We took a little bit of time to look over the menu and we finally decided we were just going to order the chicken wings with sweet red chili, which was very good and chicken tenders with the side sauces of slim sauce and Cayenne ranch. I highly recommend the cayenne ranch that was very tasty.We will definitely be back again. I don't know when the lines will die down but hopefully the next time we come, it's not so bad.

Another chicken place worth trying. Reasonable prices. Super quick and friendly service. The restaurant is nice and clean. Plenty of drink options too. The chicken is good. Very tasty. The usual salty breaded chicken tender. Not that there's anything wrong with that. The wings are also good. Small pieces and the buffalo sauce is the light orange creamy type. Not a lot of flavor but decent. Here's where it misses greatness. This place is all about the dunking sauces. Their sauces are OK but I think even Wing Stop has better quality and flavor. Worth trying. Average overall but sometimes that's OK.

First time here, I was told the chicken is much better than Raising Cane. Well that's a rather low bar. But I really enjoyed my Chicken Club Sandwich. A large piece of chicken breast deep fried to perfection. With a generous amount of crisp bacon. It came with a huge mound of French fries. We also had an order of fried mushrooms. They were really good. We had an assorted selection of dipping sauce. Blue cheese, Honey Mustard, and Gravy. We had a wonderful meal and we will come back soon.

Fast food chicken. Not really expecting much but decided to stop and see what the whole hype was about.Yes the line is very long but it moves pretty smooth considering. Staff was very friendly directing traffic.We have never been to Slim Chickens before so I couldn't decide which sauces to get so i got 2 10 packs of sauces and we mixed and matched. We ended up loving the sweet red chili, sriracha garlic, spicy bbq, garlic parmesan and the mango habanero sauces the best.We did try both chicken tenders and wings. Both were decent for fried chicken but could have used more seasoning. Glad for the sauces. The fries were decent, not something to write home about. The fried pickles were good, not too soggy. Should have eaten them first.We will definitely return. Hopefully when it's not so busy.

Slim Chicken literally! Good customer service, line moves fast, food is good with a variety of options and sides. Downside was my chicken sandwich was the thinnest chicken sandwich I've ever had in any restaurant in Albuquerque or Rio Rancho. I'll be back but I won't order a chicken sandwich I'll probably try tenders next time !

Pretty good overall I'd say. Food was fresh and the fries were seasoned well. A little salty but that's okay with me. Ordered the 5 piece chicken meal. Was pleasantly surprised and glad we took the drive over from Albuquerque to try it. Will be back if we are ever in the area. I'd say it's comparable to Hurricanes and a bit better because of the sauce varieties offered.
