Sister

We came here after having dinner somewhere else. The music and the vibe was good from the outside and we wanted to check it out. They were holding a concert kind of next door (via Sister's mean door), we didn't know the band we just stayed at the bar/arcade area. Even though we were there, we were still able to hear them. They played very nice. Since we were full, we just got a couple of drinks. The prices for the drinks were affordable, yet very well made. The staff seems friendly. The lady at the bar made a drink for me with rum, because the item I originally wanted from the menu was out. Don't know the name, but it was delicious. It was nice to sit wherever we wanted, have nice cocktails, and listen to music while enjoying watching things happening around us.

I used to love this place when it was more open , fullFood menu, great vegan options, great drinks, pinball, it was such a nice fun vibe- not anymore . Creepy small area, locked in "concerts", hardly any food items, just really lame now. It such a bummer since this was a great place just a few years ago...

Sister is my favorite bar in Albuquerque. I'm not much of a bar person, but they're great. The signature cocktails are delicious and contain the perfect mixture of interesting flavors and combinations. The food is delicious and fun and caters well to vegetarians and vegans as well as meat eaters- though I will say my friends and I are sad they've changed the menu and gotten rid of tacos except for specials, and burritos. The breaded cauliflower ones were so good.They host 80s parties, most notably the Halloween 80s music video Thrilla party every year, and it's so much fun. They also host a lot of live music artists, and I've seen a couple good ones there. The mood inside is dark and a cool kind of spooky even when it's not Halloween. There are also tables and booths out front to be able to sit outside. I feel comfortable in the atmosphere there and tend to feel like the crowd and clientele are friendly and fun.

This place is a vibe and I am here for it! A group of us went out on an appetizer and drink crawl in the area and ended up here. They had fancy drinks to more affordable and plenty of arcade games and tables for people to hang out at. I had a seltzer that I couldn't finish and the appetizer we got was a bit too rich for my taste in sheer amounts of cheese but I hear that's a usual thing in New Mexico. I loved the vending machine filled with nostalgia bits and it looks like a good place for concerts. The bar staff were friendly enough even with our multiple split checks between couples. I would have loved this place in college and would return if hanging out on this street again in the future.

Was hoping this was more than a dive bar but, rather a chill place to have drinks, play games, and relax (couches or intimate booths). I was sorely mistaken. They do have only pinball machines and actual bar seating. Wasn't for me. The area is a bit sketchy..

Great ambiance just to relax and have some good finger bites. The Staff is quite friendly and the service is amazing.

This is a really cool place. So fun with all of the different old school pin ball machines. Huge selection of craft beer and a wide variety of mixed drinks as well. The staff here is top notch! Very friendly and very helpful. I had a gin and lavender shot and it was very good. Beer was super cold. Definitely a great place to hang out. Very cool vibe. I recommend this place 100%. We will return!

The owners must really like these bar tenders. The bar at most was half full. Yet two bartenders can have a conversation behind the bar but patrons cannot get service. Being this close to downtown and the convention center you'd think you would hire quality staff. The bar back bouncer saw us yet didn't say anything to bar tenders. Good luck. Watching money and no tips going out the door. This place sucks.

I caught the matinee Ty Segall show here on 420. The had a bunch of cool pinball machines I wanted to play, but didn't, because i wanted to make sure I had a good spot for the show. Small room. Because it was matinee they had happy hour going on with $5 16oz. draft beers. That alone gets um 5 stars in my book. LOL. I was right up front and they killed it. So that may have helped with how impressed I was with the place.

Horrible service!!!! Myself (24) and 3 other friends (28)(24)(25), were bar hopping and wanted to play pinball so decided to go to sister . The worker at the door said out IDs were fake , which they are NOT!!!! Never had this issue ever . I can't believe they would let us in. We didn't even wanna drink, we just wanted to play pinball. Completely killed the night. Had multiple people look at our ID and they all said they couldn't trust us. They're New Mexico IDs so I'm not to sure if they need to further their education on REAL IDs !!! This was the "lady" not letting us in. PATHETIC. Wouldn't recommend. Also I was just there 2 days ago with the same friends and they let us in no issue. we told them that but they knew it all !!
