Darci is amazing!! The cake tasting was super easy to set up, and her options are all so delicious, it was hard to narrow down choices. We were able to get everything settled easily, and she did a beautiful floral cascade for our wedding cake. She also took care of transporting our cake to the venue, so we didn't have to worry about that day of. I highly recommend getting your custom cakes from Darci!!

Darci was amazing to work with for our wedding cake! The initial tasting was great, she gave us so many options to choose from. After reviewing her website I found that she can do some incredible specialty cakes so I decided to surprise my husband with a Batman cake! We received so many compliments on it and it tasted wonderful! We'll be using her for any family party moving forward.

Our daughter got married last Sat. (Oct. 24, 2020), and we used Simply Sweet as the baker. At the cake testing last summer, her cakes were moist and not overly sweet, and we liked that. They had a lot of flavor. Darci has a nice display of cakes and as well as a book to help choose icing types, etc. She is very sweet and accommodating. We had the cake delivered and rented a beautiful cake stand that made the presentation simply lovely! The cake was indeed moist, decorated just as we had asked, full of flavor, and had 3 flavors per the 3 tiers which fed 50. We loved the buttercream frosting - tasty but not too sickening sweet like so many I've had. Our top layer was a chocolate with ganache filling. The next down was the lemon with raspberry mousse filling, and the bottom was a chocolate with an amaretto buttercream. The outside was a white buttercream. I was impressed with the chocolate that actually had a cocoa flavor! I've had chocolate cakes with no flavor at all, and this one had a great flavor. The lemon cake was incredible. Chocolate is my personal favorite, but the lemon was equally up there this time. I saw all the great reviews on Yelp, and I agree with them. Darci has a wonderful talent in baking and decorating, and we couldn't have been more pleased!

COVID safe practices enforced Went for a tasting for our vow renewal cake. Darci was amazing and super personable. We really enjoyed all the cakes and she helped us find the perfect combinations. The shop is by appointment only and she was very accommodating with times and dates. We felt listened to and didn't feel rushed at all. She didn't even bristle when we changed our mind about something we thought we had figured out. I'll definitely be using again for future cake needs.

Darci is the consummate professional. Her cakes are gorgeous and delicious. Her cake was the star of the show at our wedding reception with it's gold edged fondant and flowers to match our table arrangements. Donut walls and cupcakes are in fashion right now but a beautifully crafted and perfectly execute wedding cake will never be passe.

My wedding cake was not only beautiful, it was delicious. Thank you Darci for making my dream wedding cake come true! My now husband does not have a sweet tooth at all, but once he tasted it, he took a whole piece and was floored by how delicious it was. All my guests raved about my cake. Darci did such an amazing job on my husband and I's wedding cake! From day one, she carefully listened to what we wanted and came up with a beautiful rose gold colored cake.
