Shotgun Willie's Cafe

I thought maybe I made a bad selection but a local person today let me know he doesn't eat there. Very pricey for having to order at the window, pick up and bust your own table. I had the loaded baked potato and my husband had a brisket sandwich and iced tea. $41.00! Neither of us cared for our food. I threw away 2/3 of the baked potato. The sauce on the brisket was too sweet. It needed some spice. That's the first and last time I will eat here.

We ordered fried catfish plate, loaded baked potato with brisket and a Bean bowl and were all pretty good. Small inside the cafe but some good eating. There's outdoor seating you can choose. It's Great stop over for lunch in Red River NM.

Comfort food at its best! Not for those who need to be catered to but we found the staff to be friendly and the food was excellent. The BOB with sausage was great and the breakfast burrito in a bowl with brisket was even better.

Great breakfast spot with a very casual and friendly environment. We showed up with our dog and the owner said go ahead and go take your dog in and order. We sat outside and enjoyed a delicious breakfast for a reasonable price in a resort town. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious.

Fantastic breakfast spot before skiing! The service was super quick and they were very nice. Everything on the menu looked good and wasn't overwhelming. My favorite was the sandwich and tej hash browns

Good place in Red River for breakfast. Food is always good and the service pretty quick even when busy. Have a good burger for lunch if you want something tasty and quick. Always make it by Shotgun Willie's every trip to Red River.

Gotta say the food here is good and they offer a cash discount. My only complaint is that the unsweet ice tea is really weak and as clear as dirty water. I told the cashier but he only told me he didn't make the tea. Oh well. Management if you're listening get that tea brewing right and maybe give your cashier some training on how to manage feedback. Bon appetite.

My rating is based solely on my meal order I recently tried the Brisket Burrito smothered in Green Chili, and it was one of the best tasting meals I've ever had. The brisket was tender and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the rich and spicy green chili. Every bite was a delight. Highly recommend!

Great food, fast service, great staff, would for sure recommend this place if you are in Red River

Mostly outside seating, nice and friendly service. The chopped barbecue sandwich & tots were delicious. We will be back next time we are in town.
