This was a random stop for me...but definitely a tasty choice. A whole in the wall restaurant that doesn't look like much from the road. The menu consista of hot and cold foods. Cold foods included ceviche (shrimp or a seafood mix...served as a 24oz plate, cocteles, tostada with cooked or ceviche shrimp, octopus, fish or mix as well as botanas. The hot side of the menu had tacos, burritos, molcajetes, or you could buy a basket of the batter fried shrimp or fish. Service was fast. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. There's also a diy salsa bar with pickled onions, fire smoked peppers and red or green sauce freshly made.Today I ordered the shrimp ceviche tostada and the shrimp burrito. Omg they were both soooo good and I'm super full. The only downside to this location was that the outdoor seating wasn't available and there was a bit of a fly issue inside in the eating area.

I've driven past Sharkys for years and never stopped in. I won't make that mistake again because our tacos were delicious! We both had fish and shrimp tacos with a side of fried zucchini. The seafood was cooked perfectly, and there were a number of fresh salsas available. The avocado salsa was creamy, tangy, and spicy enough for me.The fried zucchini had a nice crispy batter and was very tasty dipped in the side of ranch dressing.Don't miss Sharkys when you're on West Central.

It's time for another Sharky's update. I tried my benchmark there, the fish burrito. Sadly, the quality continues to deteriorate. No longer is Sharky's putting the classic fish burrito white sauce used in Baja and SoCal. It was regular old mayo this time. It was decent, but it's nowhere near as good as what it should be and used to be. To top it off, this burrito gave me GI problems that night and the next day, which was not at all fun. I won't be going back to Sharky's unless I hear of some major improvement.

Food was alright, but not fabulous like I was expecting. We ordered fish and shrimp tacos, but I don't think we got any shrimp tacos. My husband didn't love his carne asada taco. The fries were good, kid liked the cheese sticks, I liked the friend zucchini.

Sharky's is definitely a must try on any taco tour of the city. I hadn't been for probably a couple years at this point but was in the area so I stopped by. I ordered a couple tacos al pastor and a sangria jarrito. You seriously can't go wrong with the combo, especially on a hotter day. The tacos have a good amount of filling and they always have great salsa on the side. I kinda regret not getting at least one fish taco because the sauce on that one is pretty good. One major change since the last time I had been was it looked like they had put in and then blocked off a drive-thru. Probably a Covid adjustment but now it seems to be back to walk up only. The parking is usually fine but this day someone in a large truck and trailer was taking up half the lot. Not Sharky's fault but definitely an annoyance.

Was craving tacos so my wife and I decided to try sharky's, we have passed by this place thousands of times and never really gave it a second thought however, we decided to drop In and we were pleasantly surprised at the tastiness and savory flavors of their tacos. We ordered the El Pastor, the fish, shrimp and asada tacos, all of them were bursting with flavor and unique in their tastes! A bit pricey a bit spicey. We can deal with it, will be back again soon!

I was cruising the west side looking for something new to me and almost shot past Sharky's. They have one entrance and turning around on Central is now very difficult, so if you go, pay attention!I heard Sharky's had great tacos. It has a serious "neighborhood dive" vibe. They have created outdoor seating by hanging blue tarps across the patio, and it was actually comfortable to sit there on a recent summer day. They serve beer, but I was still working, so no fun for me.Inside was a little strange. They have a cooler, which was leaking across the floor. Nobody seemed too concerned so I just stepped across the water. The place is clean, but not grandma clean, if you know what I mean. The two young people working the counter were nice, if a little distant. They suggested I try an Al Pastor taco and a shrimp taco. They have a small salsa bar with six options. I just went with the avocado salsa as that usually pairs well with both my tacos. It was tasty, but a little bland. The al pastor was disappointing. It just didn't have the citrus pop that good marinated pork should have. The shrimp was tasty and the portions were fair.I might try it again when I can have a cold cerveza, but I think there are better options nearby.

Sharky's is our absolute favorite place to eat in Albuquerque. The tacos and ceviche and bacon wrapped cheese stuffed peppers were heaven. We couldn't get enough! I only wish our return route on our road trip took us back because this place was that good. The owner is super nice. We talked and visited both nights. I didn't get photos of the salsas but they were delicious and complimented the dishes perfectly. We will be going back every time we are in Albuquerque from now on. My wife just asked me what I wanted to do for Father's Day and I said I would love to go to Sharky's, it's only 10.5 hours away... Seriously, this is my new happy place. I could eat here every single day and never grow tired of the food.

I hate to say it for the first time I had to walk out of sharky's apart from the fact that none that none of the staff was capable of speaking or understanding any comprehensible english I can work with that. The restaurant seemed to be incapable of taking any money Outside of cash app zell I love the food and I plan to returnBut we are in albuquerque you should have at least one employee that speaks english and have what kind of payments you can take post it on your front door at minimum

It's closed! Didn't ever get an opportunity to try it. It was closed when we considered trying it. My neighbor loved it though.
