Sergio's Hair Studio

I recently took a job in Albuquerque and needed to find a new salon.Sergio's was on the list of "Best Salons in town". I was able to get an appointment the same week with Izzy. I have been to many "upscale" salons in Scottsdale AZ, but Izzy out done them all. I am very happy with the color, but the way he cut my hair is what will make me go back to Sergio's while I am working here. It's so easy to style now, it falls naturally and looks great.I received many compliments by my staff, they even said I look years younger. What woman doesn't like to hear that. Thank you Izzy. You are the best!!! Five stars are not enough.

I just got Banged by Sergio!!! Love love love my fresh new cut!!! Sergio listens to exactly what you want and definitely delivers! I was skeptical about bangs but Sergio was right, it's so fresh and such a simple cut made all the difference! Love this place! It's bright and open and everyone is so friendly. The salon manager, Victor, was very attentive and making sure that all guests were happy with their services.

Expect a great cut and lots of compliments after. Sergio is very experienced and professional. With minimum description he gets an idea of the desired cut and makes it happen. My hair turned out even better than what I had pictured. Thank you Sergio! I will definitely be back.

I was referred to Sergio's by a coworker. I've been going to an upscale salon since I moved to Albuquerque and while I love the extra care like a hand massage and fruity water, the price of service is not worth the final results. Lauren is phenomenal. I know what I want..in general...but I need a professional to hold my hand a bit. Tell me what my hair needs. She did just that. She corrected some poor patterning in my highlights and covered up my gray...which is always my main goal. The environment is boisterous...mainly because Lauren is there. She took the time to do what needed to be done. That is VERY VERY important to me. I hate being rushed because someone scheduled back to back clients and didn't expect too take that long. That facility was clean and modern. Comfortable. Great conversation. Paul Mitchell is a great brand. I trust their products and this salon is a great Paul Mitchell example. I highly recommend you give Lauren a ring for an appointment if you need a knowledgable colorist that will make your tresses happy. The cost was much less than where I have been going and I feel the results were much better. Will be returning!

I am so happy I took the leap and tried Sergio's Hair Studio. Sergio cut and styled my hair exactly how I asked him to. I can tell a novice from a pro and I can tell you he is a master stylist who knows his stuff. He can cut any style you want. My hair is fine, wavy, and has cowlicks. I told Sergio I'm trying to let my hair grow a little bit longer and he listened and didn't cut off too much. Sergio also was friendly and took the time to get acquainted with me, and I appreciate that! For the first time in years, I've scheduled my next appointment before walking out of the salon. I am so happy and relieved I've found my new stylist, Sergio!So, if you're looking for a stylist who won't cut off too much, or will give you that new style you want, then go to Sergio with confidence. He will make you happy.

I'm new to Albuquerque and came here because I could book my appointment online. Everyone is really nice, the salon is clean, the music is really good, and most importantly-- no one rushed me! I hate feeling like I'm a nuisance, even when I'm a paying customer, and that doesn't happen here. A lot of attention was paid to my hair by Jacob, who was careful and attentive and seemed to actually care about what I wanted! Would definitely recommend!

I love this place - and Mandy in particular. I'm new to Albuquerque and had called several places/stylists who both had good reviews and indicated on their web sites that they were looking for new clients. Never got a call back.I was referred to Mandy who got back to me quickly. I was hooked after my first visit. She listens to your needs and preferences, makes suggestions, does a great job with the color and highlights, and the razor cut gives my very fine hair some needed body. Prices are reasonable and I enjoy the rest of the staff too. You can tell all of the stylists actually care about their clients. Go and get a great hair style!

If your looking for a place that knows hair and hair color. Then look no further. I've been to Sergio's twice now,and have left very satisfied each time. I love the color bar and love that my hair color genius Alex has relocated here for part of the week. Alex is the best (in my opinion), but I have witness remarkable talent from the other stylist there as well. They accept walk-ins. They also sale a many different kinds of hair products. Give them a try if your looking for a new place to make you and your hair feel beautiful!

I was searching for a new stylist to help revive my color and cut. Found this place during a yelp search and booked with Samantha. She was able to mix a magic color that I have been seeking for 12months!!! She listened to my needs and made me feel like we'd been friends prior to this meeting. Over all, salon was quiet; no music was on and only a few customers in the late evening. Coffee and magazines were provided and no high pressure tactics were done to up-sell. Areas appeared clean and staff supported each other. I would have given 5 stars but the couch in the waiting area was in need of a cleaning or replacement and didn't great me as clean upon entry. However the overall shop and staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. I already booked my next appointment!

I was lucky to find Sergio by complete chance when I moved to Albuquerque years ago! It has been such a pleasure to watch him grow his business and as an artist! Though I can't imagine anyone else doing my hair, he has an amazing team working with him! I have and will continue to refer people to him and his salon. Thank you Serg for all you do!
